I don't know about this. The plot holes used as plot devices are so blatant that it's hard to ignore. He got a spider-sense yet he was easily bumped by cat woman, having his precious memory stick stolen, and had no choice but to become her dog after the failed retrieval operation. He is portrayed as a genius but he doesn't act like one at all. Maybe it's that his "genius" is only for learning and science stuffs, and for the rest of the time, he's a moron. Yeah, that's too much wrong things happening in succession that it's hard to enjoy the read.
