Review Detail of koladeizdavid in A Cultivation Tale: The Godly Punisher

Hello aspiring readers. 📍 Important Info (pls read) 📍 This novel that you are about to read is my first project as a writer. So to make the novel more enjoyable for you guys, I want to inform you all about some things in advance. 1. This is my first original work as mentioned above. So I hope you forgive me for any spelling or grammatical error that you may come across when reading. I would have proof-read and re-edit, but I don't have the time as I am doing a lot of things that are keeping me very busy. But the errors you may come across wouldn't affect chapter quality and your reading experience. That's certain. 2. My kind of writing is both descriptive and expository writing. I tend to detailedly describe and explain how stuffs in my novel work. And I believe I am really handling this well. The thing is I want my readers to be cleared on anything that they may come across in the novel. Unlike in some other novels where descriptions are vague, mine although well-detailed is lucid. Also, these descriptions are concentrated at chapter 2 and a bit at chapter 3. But when you get past them, that's when your journey in the story begins. 😉 3. You will come across some really lengthy chapters. This, you can blame me on. As a new writer, I didn't ask for help on stuff like this. I just wrote and published. It was later I discovered that word count for a chapter should be around 1000-1500 words. So for my book, expect some chapters to approach 2800+ words. So about the novel: 1. MC's cultivation speed is slow. This is because something happened to him when he was very little. So it affected his ability to cultivate while growing up. The good part of this is that he can cultivate as many energies as possible. While the bad part is that his cultivation speed is drastically reduced in the process. MC could have stuck to cultivation of only one energy, but our MC decided to cultivate as many energies as possible (as in synopsis), and therefore, he had a decreased cultivation speed. Another reason is because he's a 'Cultivation-deviant'. Even if he stuck to cultivation of just an energy, his cultivation speed would still be lower than others. But his cultivation speed would shoot up from using innumerable pills and other powerful resources that his peers can't imagine consuming.  2. SERIOUS R-18 scenes doesn't start until after 120+ chapters. This is because MC is twelve years old and is still developing. Besides, because of a reason, he wasn't able to experience the outside world since he was hidden in his uncle's mansion for twelve years. So he doesn't have much interactions with opposite sexes of different personalities except for the ones working as maids in his uncle's mansion. But this would change when he's allowed to go on adventure. So the chapters before 120 are focused on how MC builds his mentality since he would meet many people of different mindsets. (And mind you, this book doesn't focuses on the R-18 part or the harem-building part. It's concentrates more on action and has lot of plot twists.) 3. Story is tagged harem. But the harem in this story will be a small size. Like four to five powerful female experts who would be his wives that would conquer and seize territories, annihilate fiendish and infernal cultivators in the society, establish financial institutions to assist the poor and vigilante/ watchmen groups that would seek and destroy evil and sinister beings. They would each go on many adventures to acquire buried, peerless-grade, ancient cultivation pills which emanate dazzling, resplendent auras of mind-blowing power; possess great numbers of flesh, bone and blood essences of mighty, terrific experts; forbidden methodology manuals; large numbers of legendary or mythical beasts; grandmaster-level treasure-forging books, grand cauldron lord-stage pill-making scrolls, king-tier array-laying manuals and ultimately support their husband in eliminating the dark fate that looms over their realmverse. But the harem size might grow a bit in future. It's something that I am still contemplating on since MC would come across and develop interests in many powerful female experts in the many worlds he would journey to too develop his battle proficiency and prepare himself for the inevitable calamity that would befall his world since only he seems to possess the strength and ability to ward it off.  4. MC is twelve and is developing physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically and socially. So he might appear naive, too innocent or stupid at times to you guys. Also, he has poor communication skills with females. But all these would change after the 100th+ chapters.  5. MC is overpowered. But he too would come across many fearsomely powerful human, beast and non-human geniuses in the Grand Worlds, Major Worlds and Minor Worlds he goes to in his quest to hone himself in battles and awaken his inborn potentials. [Simply put, he is not the only overpowered character in the story. In larger worlds out there, there are large numbers of OP-Characters]. 6. Some things in the novel might puzzle you, but fret not, they world be explained in the later chapters. ............. I am open to discussions. So feel free to tell me if I made a mistake or something somewhere. You can mention it in the chapter comments or by commenting on the paragraphs. You can also do this if something feels off to you in a chapter. Another thing. Although it is a novel that focuses on cultivation like in WuXia and Xianxia novels. It's different because I am using a totally different cultivation system. So, some of what you know from Chinese/Korean fantasy-cultivation novels might not apply in this novel. Also, story is set in a high-fantasy universe.
