It is honestly nauseating, the grammar is good, the author do an amazing job describing things and designing the characters, Yet it was all ****ed up by Abby. The more i read the more i feel bad for the male lead, that guy isn’t a harem protagonist nor some sort of massive pervert nor is he power hungry. He is just a nice old guy who lost his wife, got reincarnated and fell in love again, only to find out that Abby is one of the worst persons to love out there. She cheat on him openly, impose him with everything and doesn’t accept any objection, she basically one of the most disgusting harem protagonists i ever saw ( there is a few good ones be it males or females) Our dude only want to live with her and the kids they picked up but now has to deal with all that **** and can’t even show that it hurts him since he can’t afford to lose abby. And Don’t you dare to say that it doesn’t hurt because it does, and it is disgusting to think otherwise, the only acceptable harems are when all of them agree and are happy with the situation ( either because of their culture in the world or because of a preexisting bond ) It wouldn’t have bothered me if it was a ****ty fanfic like so many out there but it is actually a well made one, that’s why it’s so disappointing.

Thought peoples would actually feel that it’s wrong if the male lead directly cheated on his love interest in front of her without any kind of "sugar coat" to cover it and make it seems right or at least make it seems okay in the context. That’s why harems in modern settings seems disgusting.

Normally I would agree with you friend, but we have a lot to consider, first the mc is already a broken man, in the first life after the death of his wife and everything he was on the verge of a deep depression, join that and his death and everything that came after we can no longer make him have the mind of an ordinary man, and abby ... what about her? first she is a creature that was never even close to human and that has lived for millennia, her story is complicated at the very least, in the beginning he didn't even have a gender identity or something, so yes the story is very distorted in many things, but the author presents a logic that makes everything have a meaning and we cannot deny that no matter how much we do not like.

Why would someone want to see the story of a broken man and a sociopath alien nymphomaniac, it won’t make us reflect, it won’t be fun (because it can't), and it is far from being an immersive masterpiece. It just feels like a messed up hentai from the seven digit or a ****ty harem story, It gives the promise of a change from the dung we are used to eat in this website. I understand friend, I believe that the author is trying to give a non-conventional version of this story, something like the dethepoll story or something, he brought together an emotionally and picicologically broken man and a being that started more as a kind of artifact and won mentality and spirituality over time, within that the author maintains a logic for both characters and the world, it may not be the most conventional story but we cannot diminish it as a bad story. Maybe there are things that do not please you, mine and others, but we cannot deny that it follows a logic and due to everything that is presented to us within that world and circumstances it becomes something very credible. So we have to keep an open mind and not deny that the story within what they propose is an even decent story even if a lot of things we don't like.

Logic and coherent doesn’t means good, Let’s take an example, Fight Club. The main characters are even more messed up then this novel, but in a way that actually make it interesting and enjoyable to watch. The idea of the story isn’t bad, like i said in my review. It is really good, but there was just one detail, one fact that destroyed everything, that ruined the whole credibility of the thing, Why would someone emotionally damaged who has been treated like an object inflict the same amount of pain to an equal damaged person ? What kind of person would do that ? a disgusting person, that’s the answer. If it was a completely bad story it wouldn’t have mattered to me, but it is good in other aspects which make it even more horrible. Let’s make it easier friend, imagine a tasty chocolate cake, your Grandma made it with love and everything. Looks good ? Now Kim Jong-un will come and poop on it. Would you still enjoy eating it ? The cake is perfectly good if not for the fact that somebody pooped on it, but it doesn’t matter now does it ? that’s how i felt reading the fanfic

It’s not about the roles, God knows that i enjoy a wholesome story with actual loyal partners who slowly and realistically come to care for each other more than any other type of fic. The problems is that in a harem story, the quality is horrible and there is not point in reading it at all, it is crap, The End. But this story’s quality was good, and that’s what’s bad. ( i know it’s confusing ) so let me use an image instead. If someone vomited on some crap, it’s okay, cause it’s already disgusting. Now would it be the same if he relieved himself on a Mercedes ? Same thing ?

From what I have gathered of all the information so far, I believe that the meaning of the work is that a greater force for some reason decided to bring together two very different beings but at the same time that they could find in each other something that was missing in their existences and that would bring transformations and happiness for both, at least that is the proposal that I see that the author wants to have for history. Then enter what I said, following the logic of what was presented and the apparent proposal of what I said that the story seems to want to give, we can say that what they propose is a story that is not bad, and the character in question who is a partner mc despite having things that do not please the vast majority, but due to the background proposal of the story and all the other reasons I have already made it all happen in a credible way and makes all her attitudes within the story have a reason and occur in an interesting way and where I believe that the growth of both is shown in a very unusual way and thus making the story have a reasonable quality along with the character you came to criticize my dear friend. Only this, it may not be a pleasant character, certainly not in many moments, the MC could have another company to overcome his entire crisis, probably yes, but I believe that the author's objective is precisely this, to join such an improbable and different pair and show that somehow they supported each other and grew and discovered happiness together.

And friend, I know that you may not have felt well, but probably the author who wants to make readers feel uncomfortable about their existing paradigms, and see how I site before, that the union of two are so distant, but at the same time so lacking in both feelings and mentality, they could come together and in a very unusual and even shocking way discover happiness and evolve with each other, that's why the female character that accompanies the mc is made the way it is, at least that's what I managed to get by reading the story so far.

It doesn’t matter what he wanted to convey, i give a critic which was my honest opinion after reading a fair amount of chapters. The story’s quality was very good, but then again one of the main characters is horrible, it doesn’t matter what explanation there is behind her comportment. She just ruin everything, making a story with so much potential into just a big disappointment. The other main character isn’t someone i judge ‘compatible’ with this type of story, he isn’t a bad person like a fair amount of main characters out there. So i genuinely feel sorry for him, the story make me feel extremely bad, and not bad in a good way like a Drama or a horror movie, or even some psychological mumbo jumbo i love so much. Just feel bad for one of the main characters, hate the other one, and consider reading it a bad experience. Thus, I took the decision to give my sincere opinion and warn the other readers about what they’ll find here. It doesn’t matter if they have weird kinks or just don’t care about the characters of a story. And since i am for gender equality, i will hate Abby just like i hate 90% of the harem protagonists out there.

Mate, we aren’t searching for something like that in this type of story. It isn’t something that was though profoundly or anything, it is just an entertainment. And as an entertainment it is a bad experience for reasons i already mentioned. It isn’t a matter of happiness, their relationship is unfair, messed up and leaves me with frustration and pity. They aren’t repairing themselves they are just becoming worse, it is a story about the degeneration of a grieving man and the wicked actions of a woman who was literally objectified. This is the guy of plot we find in Hentai man ! Once again, it was a bad experience justifying my opinion. The bad experience was caused by a main character (Abby who i will now call issei), that character is abject and follow a trope i hate and no one would publicly admit they like . You don’t see someone who claim that he loves polygamy everyday, now do you ? Anyway, in two three words, it was bad.
