It is the best Resident Evil fanfic that I have read and even more, of the movies, not to mention that when they make a Fanfic of the game and not of the movies, I do not understand anything, I have never played it ... do not insult me, those fans. I had no childhood. (Use a translator from Latin Spanish to English. In case you don't understand something)

You could try the new remakes of RE2 and RE3 ...or the relatively new RE7 ,the upcoming RE8 and RE4 remake.....its easy just buy the ones available on steam when they have a discount or something...
I think compared to games...the story of movies were trash and Paul Anderson removed almost all good characters to add his girlfriend mila as alice...he even scraped the remero's script of resident evil to make mila famous

ya the movies deviate from canon drastically I prefer Claire from the game over the movies rehash...
