Review Detail of Morkez in Bleach: Brave Guardian

A great take of the Bleach universe with original characters, power progression and team building with the story straying further from the original as the story progresses. Some scenes, while similar to the original end up much differently due to the MC and his influence. Looking forward to the story ahead. Some criticism from myself. Certain scenes and events aren't explained fully. Such as the incident with his sister and foster father being thrown into the future and how the MC knows this. The other disconnect is also regarding his sister when she returns from the mirror incident. While many years have past for him, for his sister and foster father, it was experienced as a few seconds. His bro-con sister behaviour becomes non-existent when she returns. Another important thing missing from the MC is proper goals. We see him reaching for more power while being unable to protect those close to him. While this can be one of his goals, it's also mentioned by the MC that he wants to become a God. Reasons for this is unknown to us. The MC was also an emperor in his previous life. Just by looking at the rural district he grew up in and how it is always referenced which districts certain shinigami grew up in, it would be assumed the Emperor personality become a part of his identity and sees how he, as ruler of soul society can improve upon the lives of those living in these rural districts. At the moment, it may be that he is still amassing power before he attempts any of his plans for soul society, but having that insight into his goals makes him a more developed character... Just my personal feeling on the matter. Not sure if it would help improve the story or not. Still going to be reading it in the future. Go Author!
