Simply I don't like novels where MC is a slave of system. And there are inconsistencies in his health bar sometimes, so it takes all the fun away.....

The inconsistencies have been explained in the comments so many times. Each body has a separate health bar. The consciousness body, skeletons body, orc body, and any other body to come As for being a slave... It is all part of the plot and story. The dungeon and system are treated as opposing entities and I won't say much more since it would spoil anybody else that sees this reply. Regardless, best of luck finding another novel that fits your taste. Overarching plots are seemingly not your thing. (p.s. I hope this didn't come off as passive aggressive :/)

Well, he wasn't really a slave per say to begin with. It's more like he is being bullied but the dungeon now has some moments of understanding allowing Ed to have some more freedom. There are also moments when it does the opposite. To answer your question, I don't know if I'd describe it as free. For now it's like they are learning to put up with each other.
