So this novel is essentially China when they realized they could just copy the rest of the world if they closed their country off? Welcome to China, a place where all foreign companies are banned so that people can make foreign copycats of that company and keep all of the money within the country only to put half of it into the state’s pockets. They even have copycat architecture. Eiffel Tower? Yep, they’ve got it. London Bridge? Got that one too. Wait, are these even profitable? Well, who cares because copying is too ingrained into them they can’t do anything else!

LIKEokay, can you think about it for one second you are in another world with the other world's own toys and other stuff being very different from your own world and now you can abuse that to make the items of your own world sell them and get rich right? So if you can do that then why are you going to try your own original ideas when they can flop easily while these already branded and successful toys never flopped, so would you rather use the successful ones first or the ones that are a coin flip, you saying oh this is just ingrained into Chinese people is one pretty offensive to them, two you are being literally the same thing all other Chinese novels do which is **** on another country, 3 Rome was glorious because they copied other people, America was great because they used other peoples ideas, literally any powerful nation knows that if you want to be a powerful nation you have to copy and learn from other people's ideas. You might say oh they just copy but you gotta remember that copying doesn't make a profit unless 1. they have a cheaper way of making something 2. it is better than the thing. Actually China right now is actually copying from other people and trying to learn how to be bigger than the USA.
Please don't take this serly but some great novels were ruined by racism. They try to show that they are ALWAYS up right when dealing with other countries. An example would be Ultimate Scheming System.
And this is just my opinion.
And I would agree with you on somethings.
What you say is true (TheCheshireJoke) but I think that lazy daoist focused on different subject. Point is that chinese market negatively affected (mostly America) global one. To be honest I was always admiring their success. 'Made in China' product fad is widely known thing and people who criticize it (like Oto) are either jealous type or those who are negatively affected by it.
Agree, many novels seem less fun due to ultra-nationalism. There was one great Marvel fan-fic at mtlnovel which I liked where MC destroys entire Japan when their navy came to enquire why they were near their country and the author justified this by talking about past oppression of Japan on China. Even great novels have some degree of nationalism... say The Legendary mechanic where Chinese are favored (this is Okay I guess) and Nine Star Burden where a super powerful MC works for the army and feels overwhelmed when meeting country's high officials. These 2 are not bad but personally, I prefer more objective novels. I mean if I had so much power I sure would not work under some country unless necessary or for some benefits. And I definitely wouldn't feel overwhelmed on getting some titles or meeting some officials. Guess I am not patriotic enough!!??!!
so true lol......I always skim read through all of player pov in legendary mechanic. Thats why eastern novels while most are trash they don't anger you.......
