oh man I remember reading this in middle school and was so pissed.

The story started out good but its not even a cricket story anymore. Protag is doing stuff that's not even in the same realm of technology. He is a billionaire with advanced Jarvis like AI, has a crime predicting machine and almost superpowers and u expect him to play cricket. Even after that he actually loses matches in cricket when he should be impossible to play against. Oh and the story is just AI garbage, I don't really mind AI usage but it should at least be readable. This story has no personality, Mc acts very very humble so much so that you would think he is an avg player. His mother makes biriyani every 5 chapters, his dad cries every 10 chapters and the romance was somewhat interesting is just the same dialogue repeated again and again......I think in the next 50 chaps or so, he will be a god like entity who only plays cricket for fun.

Yeah... cricket at grassroots level has improved a lot and players can make a lot of money even if they never touch red ball cricket.

True...its easy to hate a player but you must also remember what they have done for the team.
