A promising start. Quite the quality effort compared to a majority of new stories. Grammar has minimal errors, nothing another once over won't fix. Prose is wonderfully descriptive enough but not too cumbersome to read. As is the dialogue, being natural and flowing smoothly makes for a pleasant reading experience. I'll be keeping an eye on this.
