I haven't read the complete story, because honestly I wasn't able to. The story is too misogynistic for my liking. In the second chapter he slaps her, just because she slept with him for money. Honestly, that's her choice, and if you didn't like that you shouldn't have slept with her. And I couldn't believe how any person could be with someone like that just for money, so, I personally don't like the story. The translation quality and other things are good, but for me, it's a NO!

Wow, this is definitely something new. I'm actually surprised at how much I like it. Usually I'm one for fluffy romances, instant love, no ML FL drama...etc. This isn't any of that yet I can't stop getting intrigued. Here's the thing, this novel doesn't go down the typical reborn routes (1. op op FL instant kills all enemies, 2. FL meets ML and they fall in love and he helps her out). No, we asked for new and they GAVE us new. FL tricks ML and they start a sugar daddy/baby relationship, no strings or feelings attached. Novels usually portray mistresses as totally scheming and greedy. But FL is so shameless about her love for money, it's quite refreshing. She sees ML as a walking bank and doesn't dare catch feelings. Self awareness, A+. PLUS FL's here trying to earn money to live her best life and get away from all the trash in her family. Yeah she sleeps with ML for money, but her character is built so well, you can't look down on her bc life isn't immediately easy after being reborn. ML can act like a total tsundere, but after 39 ch he's barely figuring out his feelings. None of the "I fell in love with you at first sight" or "how dare you sleep with me, now you're mine!!" He's a professional sugar daddy I guess? He's actually annoyed at the concept of FL being a shameless mistress, but still dutifully sends her money and gifts. TLDR: Such a refreshing lead, well written dynamic between FL and ML. FL is such a well built character, not like other novels where reborn FLs can instantly take down the world and become actual royalty. No instant romance BUT it's not terribly heartwrenching and angst. I can't read those. NOTE: there's implied rough sex but no rape. no smut scenes either.
