I agree with the reviewers’ comment about this being cliché. But such as being the case, I expected a bit more. Su Ruixi is not a likeable character as the female lead if you compared her to the modern assassins who transmigrated to ancient past. She claims that her medical prowess is the best and yet she can’t do surgery? She claims she’s studied, learned and mastered several knowledges and skills as a modern assassin and yet somehow she still lacks. Her planning, scheming and strategizing leaves one with a bland taste with bitter aftertaste. One commenter posted that she’s not satisfied with how she dealt with her cousins, Rouqi and Roulin. Let me add to this, I’m not satisfied with her plan to use a scapegoat to take her place in the execution. The scapegoat ended up being rescued by a man in black after dropping a black smoke bomb. Who was this man? Her dad perhaps? This leads her to having a potential problem since this scapegoat was fed by her with a pill to permanently change her appearance to that of hers, Rouxi. What’s more, she imprinted onto that maid her body’s original memories, regardless if she took away the maid’s dantian and cultivation. If you read this, you might compare her with Sima YouYue. Both assassins and yet dealt with their problems differently. Both lazy, has a space that can grow and store living things, has rings that contain this magical space, has contracted beings from Their ancient past, their completed souls once their modern soul went back to their current ancient self etc. Details were well-written but this made me skip them but that’s my thing. Got bored reading it. Also, Chapter 59 & 60 are the same, both have the same content. Just overall, this story is nothing to sink your teeth in and relish it. But if you’re bored and has nothing to do and wants to kill time, you can give this one a go.

She was the good girl with glasses, and she was his. — When Julianne Winters decides to move to the dormitory of the reputed University, she has everything planned so that she can complete her graduation and leave the place. But her plan is quick to catch fire from the moment the eyes of Roman Moltenore from senior year lands on her. And his appearance screams nothing but TROUBLE. "What rules?" Julianne asked with a frown as she read through the page. She was sure she hadn't seen any rules of the campus mentioned on their website. # 4. No using cell phones. # 12. Students should not roam outside the campus after eleven in the night. The further she read, the more bizarre it turned out to be. Her friend turned the page and then pointed at the last rule # 29. Listen to Roman Moltenore. "This is made up. Look, the last one is even written in pencil." Julianne couldn't believe that her friend from the next dorm thought she would fall for it. "And no phone?" "It is important you abide by all the rules. Especially number twenty nine," said the girl in a serious tone. "Remember not to get involved with Roman. If you happened to see him, run in the other direction. There is a reason why it is written down here." With the rules of the campus, she resorts to sending handwritten letters to her uncle. But who knew it would end up in someone else’s hand!
