Lazy translation and/or translator still needs years of exposure to passable English to get a feeling for acceptable sentences. It's not just that, but whenever I see "uncle" (here: "Martial Uncle" as title, chapter 1 already) I know I can expect mediocre and often awkward English. Sexual "loli" undertones already become apparent in chapter 2.

Ahahaha, if you already have issues with this translation, then I really wonder whether you've read any other novels on this site. After all, plenty of them have much worse translation quality, and not to mention, this one isn't bad at all. Moreover, you're basing your 1 star review on just translation quality, which is but a single criteria for rating novels here.
