Dropped hard Positive: Translated very well. Just minor grammar mistakes - Background/secondary characters are more relatable then the MC (except the usual Novel 'enemies' who's IQ dropped like a rock) - 'Pokemon' fight scene is nicely written - The story has a nice flow and you can really understand and follow the story... ish. Has a nice idea but horrible execution. Explanation and reasoning bellow. ________________ Negative: MC and the system and authors brain - MC in the beginning still behaves like a normal person who was transported to a new world. Good reasoning to try and repair relationship with sibling cause original Persona of the body was a dick. Suddenly System appears and story goes stupid. - Mix Pavlov + Stockholm Syndrome + Dumb author ideas/interpretation of a relationship. - system threatens MC with punishment if MC can't accomplish Quest/Mission. These with literal Torture (lighting that was triggered) or promise of Oblivion (erase Memories and deletions) - MC, under pressure, must train a rat where they both can die infinately but both experience how they died. MC trains rat among super monsters that the rat constantly dies. And when rat feels tired after fighting and beating a monster, MC kills rat to safe time cause when rat is reborn it's fully energetic again. - afterwards owner of rat comes to collect the rat and suddenly MC is totally emotionally attached to rat and gets angry/jealous why rat jumps for joy to the nonviolent pet owner. Story has nothing to do with Pet Store after a while. It's all about the food and training pet for others. Nothing about being a pet shop owner and it's development. Personal not sure if Author even knows what it's like have a pet.

Problems with your review: #1. Your first negative is mostly a compliment. #2. How am I supposed to interpret "Mix Pavlov + Stockholm Syndrome + Dumb author ideas/interpretation of a relationship"? What the f*ck does that even mean? Give me more info than that. #3.System threatens mc with punishment. These are supposed to be comedic, lighthearted moments. Not to really be taken all that seriously, And most of the punishments are either a decrease in reputation (needs to be punished three times before deleting) or a lightning bolt that zaps him a bit. (Mostly the second) if the MC really wanted to be lazy, he could just not do what the system says and get zapped a couple of times before getting let off. #4 Mc killing the rat is something people are gonna complain about either way. One group will say "That's animal cruelty!" and hate it. While (If he did not kill the rat) another group would say "Mc is so retarded, he should just kill the rat and be more efficient! one star!" either way people will complain, and honestly the rat was probably going to get killed just as much either way. #5 Mc is not 'emotionally attached' to the rat. It was another comedic moment lost in webnovels sh*t translation. It was meant to be a laugh at how the mc basically acted like a yakuza boss. He was being sarcastic. (Honestly this is the best way I can describe it, sarcasm may not be the best word.) by pretending to be all innocent in front of its owner. Honestly most of the problems you have with it are due to scenes in the book not being described well. You can tell how bad Webnovels translation is if you check box--novels machine translation. The machine translation is nearly as good as this one.

Ok I'll agree that I got conflicting messages from the story and that got me frustrated. Just reread it again from chapter 1 - 24 I got a really Psycho vibe from how the scene of the rat training and then the scene with returning the rat. If it is as you said more of a sarcasm/sarcastic statement with jokes then it makes more sense and bareable. I sadly have to say that if that is the case then it really went over my head. The comedic aspect of it is there if I squint and constantly repeat in my head that it's all for fun (which, honestly I should do more often). I think what's really getting to me is how the format, the well translation and good grammar gave me the illusion that the scene was completely thought out. The tournament had it's usually dumbdumb antagonist but the line of thoughts and emotional struggle from a just newly introduced Character made me even like Su Yangjing more then the MC. Maybe if there are more descriptive lines would help the story out. Does it get better in later chapters? I know asking for this of the translator is a lot.

If you're asking if the translation gets better later, then no it doesn't sadly. Honestly I can see why you wouldn't like it. Eastern humor is absolutely and completely different than western humor so it can be misleading. Add that together with the bad translation and it can be hard to read. Thanks for making the review though. Unlike most of the people in the review section, you're review had a clear purpose and something to say on the book itself. Taking the effort to try and help something improve is something I appreciate. P.S. If you don't like it now, you wont like it later trust me.
