I really tried to give this story a chance but after struggling to read ten chapters I'll have to drop it. Yes the obvious bot reviews are bad (but that's just playing the game, I get it) but the author might need some classes about writing stories. The story is written sometimes like a Theatre play wright,(basic positioning of things and basic speech lines); then like a normal light novel with proper scenery description and conversations, character descriptions (angry, sad, shocked, etc,) edit: these parts feel like other Stories and their given similar scenes; and then everything is thrown out the window and it's a vomit of speech lines - " ", Double Quotation marks are used both for thoughts and speech - There's no clear distinction to know who is talking and talking to whom. (There's a part in chapter 1 that made me think that the cat actually talked back saying "Hey!") It feels more like a rough draft for a comic/manga then a light novel, being more focused on the speech bubbles and thing that directly affect the MC then the surrounding, the atmosphere and (isn't a must but inner thoughts and feelings ) All together not good but I wish the author luck in future endevavors

Could be cause with a 'small' boss his Ego could accept it. But with a bigger Boss and bigger Game he's less important/valuable/special, maybe?

Well, the author is being more honest. To be "Courting Death" would assume that they'll have to have had a girlfriend/boyfriend or even have social skills 😂

Dropped because of bad translation, too expensive chapter cost and each chapter way too short for the price It's decent. the art and story is really good.I came in with a higher expectastion because I've read the original translation. Sadly, like the original translation, after it was dropped by the original translator the vocabulary and terminology went all over the place. The comic is good, both translation and everything, till chapter 110~120. After that some thought process and conversation sound absolutely stupid in English. It makes sense if you squint your eyes and translate the English words for word to chinese but I want to read a comic not grade some middle school papers.

Best story and great translation till chapter 253. The idea, concepts and little twist were really well laid out.Original translater dropped a year ago. The quality dropped off so hard after that, that it hurts what could have been a 'must read' for all users of this app/website.Translation and idioms errors (When the MC calls for a guard he says, "Be Loyal" and the guard answers, "I am here"), thoughts and description are being repeated (clearly just to fluff up the word count), single chapters from raw are split in two and incongruent flow of the conversations. If you can find the original rar online and read it in the original language I definitely recommend it.

(personal opinion: I hate this title, sounds like a 3 grader wrote it. You just had to add the 'the' and it would have been great but no...) Congratulations to the author (sucks that neither the author, translator or webnovel mentioned this). You can find the stories RAW version online somewhere (goes up to chapter 800~900 i think?) but it'll be about as good as a 1 to 1 google translation. Read at your own risk (for your eyes, the bad translation [text, idioms, grammar], etc.). cya!
