Review Detail of Eternal_Ouroboros in An Endless New Dream

The writing quality for this novel and fan-fiction is absolutely amazing, way above the majority of the content of this site. It's a refreshing thing, when you're finally able to read a work that makes sense and that's actually well paced. I enjoyed reading every chapter for sure. The stability of updates so far is really good, impressively so. With a great many chapters each week, so you never have to wait long for cliffhangers. Though those are few and far in between. The story development is very well done. Although it may not seem like saying much as it does indeed follow the canon, that's only as a guideline, much like a D&D player's handbook XD. With the introduction of all the different techs from modern earth and Marvel's Stark Industries, the plot development takes many surprisingly entertaining turns. Even the minor changes here and there, that don't seem much by themselves, are meaningful in the end when combined together. I love the way things have turned out to be with the pip-boy and her being a Sayan, and to be totally honest, I was quite put off at first with the gender-bending, but through theses few dozens of chapters, it wasn't weird to read nor was it awkward or forced. All in all, good job! The character design, the only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 star is because the original charas from RWBY didn't exactly feel like the ones I knew. Which, I know, doesn't sound very intelligent considering this is a fan-fiction, but as a reader, this is what I selfishly look for in most fan-fics. That being said, I didn't mean to say the charas were a total miss, not in the least. They have redeeming points for sure and it still makes up for an action packed novel to follow. The world building, I mean there isn't that much to say about it. The only times you'd get actual world building was for plot developments in fight scenes because they were needed for the environment. Needless to say, the world building is already done, with the setting of the story being in the world of Remnant. However, the small clips of world building from the fight scenes were well done. I cannot stress how much this is my favorite RWBY fan fiction. And as a RWBY fan, I love seeing it get the justice it deserves in the shape of this novel. Well written, good update schedule, follows canon plot with original twists. Plus it has Yuri. What more could you ask for? **: Author-san, do you have a fetish for gender-bending?
