The story is well written, but due to the lenght of the story before he enters DxD, I find it had to enjoy as much. Don't get me wrong the pre-story is great... It's just that I feel lied to with false information because of the story's title and summary. At this point in time, which is like 15 chapters in, there hadn't been anything related to dxd yet. They just finished the summary mentioned warp sequence, so I guess its going to start now, but for me, a lot of the damage is done. Combined with the slow release rate, the story has taken so long to get to the actual DxD part that I shelved it after a few chapters and rebinge read it till now. DxD is about to start but... I no longer feel interested in the story because it took this long to get to the point it advertised. DxD. In one chapter, the author added an authors note, asking if the prologue was too long. My answer to that is:"Most Certainly". To the author, I recommend adding a short summary introduction of what has happened to this point, the size of one or two paragraphs, then continueing the story from there. That way, people who feel 15 chapters is too long a prologue would be able to tune in from there, which is what I recommend most others to do. It's very hard to arrive somewhere that they are told to expect the thing they are looking for, and the told to wait for an undetermined amount of time. For me, I feel like I am at a restaurant waiting for the food I ordered, only to sit there waiting still at closing time and realise that they kept me waiting because theyre too embarresed to admit the ingredients ran out for what I ordered and hoped I would just walk away... Thus, whilst the story is really well written, even now that we are at the cusp of getting the actual DxD part of the story... I just want to go leave, which I am doing after this review is posted...

its chapter 21 and the story isn't even in hsdxd yet i have no idea were this story is going to end up as the mc is talking about making a solar by using emps but emps stop electricity but for a solar flare its increased lighting from the sun. All in all the story would be good if the author started on the dxd part since its a dxd fanfic but at the pace its going it might aswell be an original book

So far it's a good read. It's different than the other dxd fanfiction I have read. Don't know how it will turn out in the future though but for now I am liking it where it is going.

The story is well written but its like 30 ch and NOTHING to do with dxd yet. its far FAR to slow for me ....................................

I'll start with the good. In general, the quality of sentence structure and general upkeep of the novel is quite high. The world background may actually be good, however certain other aspects make it harder to judge. The main character has the annoying tendency to cut off explanations mid way with a standard "WHAT?!??" only to be reprimanded in the same way and resulting in a repeat of the explanation. Repeatedly. Since his only companions are AIs, any chance of emotional response to such actions are cut off as well leaving bland and repetitive actions. Note: Just to be clear, he isn't contributing at all with his interruptions. The author likes to explain the plans in great detail - in many ways too much detail. Why is this a problem? This is because if the details are surrounding something that was already questionable, it just digs the plot hole deeper and deeper when it could otherwise be ignored - and there are a few such holes. [Won't specify which in review, since spoilers. One of the larger holes actually just has to do with money.] When not deepening plot holes, it ends up being a lot of talking in circles since, as specified above, the MC likes to interrupt. Alot. As others have said, it's very slow to make it to the overlap of plots, this, in itself isn't a bad thing, however when the journey is filled with interruptions and repetition to go with a lot of pseudoscience explanation and pseudo justification, it becomes a lot harder to wade through.
