Good writing and good character backstory. However, the MC does nothing except follow the anime storyline. Additionally, he has weak personal interactional. His only redeeming quality is that he cares for kids. Do expect to see much interaction. He barely shows care for his own elemental. He is very detached. It is like rereading dxd from a 3rd perspective. Not bad, but not great.
