Let's start with the pros: - Innovative, a topic that has been done multiple times but it has been executed differently. It's different from all the other doom type of novel - Horror, no way near the type of horror that is in My House of Horror but it's still pretty good. In that novel the horror is literally the main theme so I can understand it. - System, the system isn't op or annoying. A very good, typical MC's advantage but not exaggerated. The good kind of system. - Interesting, it leaves you on the edge at certain moments making you want to continue reading to find out what happens and how it happens. - Accurate real life medical knowledge. Cons: - "my goal shall be of finding out what happened to my parents!" I hate the MCs that have zero personal goals or personal drive for themself (but this is just my preference). - MC, the main character is not exactly intelligent, even if a lot of people are saying the opposite and praising him for it. He tried to analyze the medicine (wasting them) given to him by the system by conducting experiments, because he was scared of what the system could do to him, and thats STUPID. Here is why: the system is literally in your brain, it can do anything it wants to you and you wouldnt be able to resist anyway. Moreover, the medicine given by the system are clearly made with way more advanced technologies and, not even just science but also magic probably. How do you expect to understand what they do? They may be made so the "side effects" that the MC is scared off works only on him, how is he expecting to understand how they work? If those medicines has been tampared by the system as he is scared of, there would be no way for him to actually know. The system is on a whole different level and if it wants for him to not know, he would never know. There is no use wasting medicines that literally gives you the ability to live longer (he has a tumor) for useless experiments, if he was intelligent he should understand this. - Side Characters, the mc was one of the worse type of student there was, the kind that slacked, caused trouble and did nothing apart from spending money and bring down the reputation of the school (a really famous one at that) A professor tried to help him and defend him in vain for more than a year, but the MC didnt care and ignored him, making the professor hate the student (MC) after all he did to try help him, losing every hope he has for him. Now the MC comes back, says that he is different and, magically, the professor that hated him before regained hope in him. THIS all happened in the span of 2 lines, 2 LINES. The side-character literally bend to force the plot forward even if it doesnt make sense. - Small plot holes, being able to livestream live when you are at the bottom of the ocean, literally kilometers under water. A phone with an important video that didnt have a SIM card initially (and it was a problem because of it) suddendly have it and other small bits.. Fantastic concept, good writing style, but with many small and medium problems, nowhere near enough to get 4.9 stars. 4.4 - 4.5 would be the maximum in my opinion for this novel. The only reason people rate it so high is because we got used to the garbage that webnovel has. P.S. Comparing this to My House of Horror is ridiculous. MHoH is not exactly a masterpiece but still better than this. Rant over.

First MhoH is not a masterpiece? Thats good ..from that alone I'm pointing out most of your views are useless And about the professor changing views? In case you didnt read properly you would have known the professor put a lot a hopes for a lengthy period of time and when he seriously came out saying he has changed he couldn't help but gain some hopes.. And its not like he instantly accepted him..he still had suspicions and didnt treat him too nicely until he saw his work , and you very deliberately didnt mention this ..thats nice too And about wasting the medicine? He distributed very minute amount of it based on mass of humans compared to rats for dosage..so you can imagine how much medicine he wasted supposedly .. And his life was not in immediate danger and he had several doses I don't see why he couldn't "waste a few drops you can say" of that medicine .. For you to be nitpicking about the actual thoughts that may arise due to random supernatural stuff and making it seem idiotic .. Your review is as useless as your reasoning and half read biased opinions

First of all, he wasted a lot of medicines. he continued the experiment everyday, on multiple mices, about 20-25 if im not wrong, and the medicines used on weight ratio doesnt mean anything, as I have said those pills propably works based on different laws of science and, maybe, magic; an example would be that only a full pill can increase the lifespan, so if you cut it in half the other half may not work (that half may also work on only animals and not humans). And even if the dosage was low it doesnt matter. He just had barely 2-3 weeks of being alive before the symptons started to appear. It's completely useless to waste medicine since it's not gonna prove anything anyway, as I said, if the system doesnt want him to know he is not gonna know no matter what experiments he does. The point is that: what he did is just fucking pointless! What if the system stop giving missions that allow him to get those pills? Even if he has wasted just a little, those are still days of life. Not something to waste in any way, especially if in a pointless act. Second, for the professor, even if he wanted to test him afterwards, it just doesnt make sense that after more than a whole year of complete disappointment he would regain a bit of hope from just him saying that now he is different. People are not like that, especially seeing him angry as he was before because of how he behaved. Even the comments if you go to that paragraph are all saying that he changed too fast. Regaining trust in someone is way more difficult after that person broke it. If the MC had actual proof that he changed at that moment I wouldnt said anything about it, but he didnt. Lastly. Ohh woah, just because I dont like a different novel now my opinion and review doest matter, just shut the **** up and get out fanboy. I didnt say I didnt like the novel, I simply pointed out what I was dissatisfied with, but fanboy like you are useless to talk to apparently.

Nope he used the medicine and the rest of the time was for observation. And for professor its the actual reaction .. No matter how openly he refuted there is no way he didnt have some kind of hope for a change.. And yes he didnt instantly believe him he continued to observe and with his performance he believed maybe he had changed.. Get your facts right .. And I'm a fanboy so what? You speak as if its an average novel then yes I will refute that.. You feel thats rude then I can't hell you not like I care

the medicine works only for a day, he has to keeo giving the mice the medicines if he want to keep observing. There are 5 pills in a box, and each extend the lifespan by 1 day. As for the professor, the reaction is totally abnormal, if you think it's not then you are clearly blind. No one in the real world woupd behave like that after losing trust in someone for 2+ years

I will try to be polite. All that you said on your review just proof that Plague Doctor is a Masterpiece. At least in the first 60 chapters. At first, I feel that he is a little stupid too for using the medicine for experiments, but really makes sense for a medical student to be cautious, no? And he really doesn't use much of it. The author didn't say exactly how much of the medicine is used, but for what we can deduct from the dosages, he doesn't spend over 2 or 3 pills for it. Maybe did you have the feeling that he spent more of the medicine? Well, I really don't catch these small plot holes that you said and the examples you said don't help too, because the guy is not live stream when they are on the ocean, he is just recording it and will update after they return. I dare say that I tried to be a careful reader, so these should be really really really little plot holes, what is common in all novels. Maybe you are more mindful than me, or maybe you overstate this point. Now for the most polemic, the side characters, main the teacher of our dear mc. That's the point that I really can't understand your review. The return of the mc for the college is one very well developed part of the novel. The teacher really doesn't accept him at first, but he strongly rejects him. If you read carefully, the professor truly accepts him only when he proofs that he really changed, skilfully dissecting the corpse. Once we put expectations on someone is hard to change our minds. Because of it, a lot of peoples continue in abusive relationships or return with an ex. It's not the best example, but it is the best that I can think about now. I believe the other guy, despite being rude because he probably is furious at the moment (this wonderful novel isn't picked, how we won't be pissed), have excellent points on this matter. Thanks if you read all, I know that I tipped a lot, but I hope this answer helps you think about it. I believe we ever can increase our horizons and this novel is a masterpiece for me at the fists 60 chapters. I don't know how it develops after this and gets some spoilers I like little, most for personal preferences, about this novel's development. But I believe we readers need to be together for superb novels like these, mostly when we think how much "trash" novels are picked on webnovel and they drop pleasant ones like these because of it.

Lesbian_Loli, just to let you know your name is already so familiar to me, you know why? Coz in all those Novels I've read, all, literally ALL of your comments and reviews are just Negative ones and complains about how trashy the novel is despite it being a GENUINE good novel, like Mhoh, Ltom, Chrysalis, etc. I'm so familiar with your name that whenever I see it I'm already expecting it to be a Negative comment/review. I'm sorry but not all Novels can satisfy your Fantasy, or should I say DELUSIONS of being an Edgy Perfect Overpowered human being with Millions of harems. Seriously dude, you need to get out of your house to see how pathetic you are.
