Short: A very unique novel, Its a mixture of apocalypse and medicine. Mc with something of a medical system. Not like the usual apocalyptic novel. There is not fighting as of yet. Its seems more like a normal thriller book than a Chinese novel. Should read it, The story seems very intriguing. Good for people looking for more than just faceslaping and fighting. Long: World: Its the modern era, The world is going through some strange things which no normal citizens are aware yet. It looks like the start of a slow coming of apocalypse with various creatures appearing. Not much background can be found in the 40 chapters though. The official seems to be working on solving this things for at least a decade from what I inferred. There are various creepy creatures in the world right now. Characters: MC is a medical student and an orphan, Who found out that he is terminally ill. He got a system through an adventure, Which lets him choose 1 mission do out of 3 everyday. Most of the mission are about dissecting people/things. Or about doing the usual medicinal stuff. He is quite calm, and his first rewards seems perfect for the story development. He seems good natured. There aren’t many side characters to develop as of yet, So can’t comment on that. His background also seems to have some foreshadowing. Basically a very new medical system novel and from my point of view its better than the usual ones which tend to get boring faster. With the mix of Horror, Thriller and Medicine the story will always have something to look forward to despite the lack of fighting (Not sure if MC will have fighting capabilities in the future though). A worth read. 👍

The synopsis does not do the novel justice. This novel is a refreshing change from all the usual face slapping, overpowered characters and extremely retarded antagonists. The novel is set in a modern era with something akin to a medical system (which has not been fully unlocked yet) it takes on a slightly mysterious and supernatural tone with some hints to a relation to some beings from HP Lovecraft. The pacing of the novel is good as you can feel the development of the characters and the world as you learn more about them whilst keeping mysteries and questions to be answered at the end of each development. The side characters per say are also decently fleshed out. At first i read the synopsis and was going to skip the novel however after reading it I am completely hooked, i suggest that you read the 40 free chapters before you make your decision on this novel. Hope it gets chosen to get translated looking forward to more

Really good novel. Its extremely different from the usual cliched novels which have same repeating plots. If I had to compare it to some novel, it would be Lord of The Mysteries and My House of Horror. MC is not a 'Hero' prototype but a realistic person who has slight (just a little bit)antihero qualities. Just give it a go. I had no expectations from the synopsis and cover but still Its a unique piece of work which just sucks you into its universe.

This novel deserves its tags as Horror Thriller. It gets you tense and gets your heart pounding. You might even feel a chilling sensation over your body. The novel has a lot of lows and high, not in quality but to keep the reader from burning out. It gets tense and heart pounding then it let's you relax. Again and again you feel thrill and horror of the novel but it doesn't continue to the point of exhaustion. Very nice you can binge this and not feel like bad after. I want to talk about the plot but I'd need to add the spoiler option and that be annoying. All I can say is this is more of a horror novel at the start that turns into a thriller and again horror eventually it turns into a medical novel. You'll be reading horror thriller mystery at the start. Main character is still a newbie doctor at the start so he won't be like the person in the synopsis until who knows what chapter. Also this novel suffers from **** cover art and bad synopsis. A novel can be good but if it's wrapped in shir who would pick it up to read? It needs better art.

Feeling salty. This seemed like a promising break from webnovels typical works, but it has been taken out of the voting pool. Why even promote these books when webnovel won't even give them a translation run? At this point, I'm better off learning Chinese since I might be able to read them in the far future, unlike waiting for a translation that'll never come.

If you like house of horror and the Lord of Mystery there is no need to further read this review quickly go and read this novel you won't regret it. So far I've read the first 39 so this is my review of it, READ AND VOTE don't let this Hidden Gem go to waste.

In the past I had rated this novel quite highly, but as of chapter 200 I’m beginning to get fed up with how the book is written. The system quickpy becomes irrelevant and there is no progression on that end nor is it even mentioned hardly at all. His medical skills? Also essentially become obsolete except for every 50 chapters he will maybe do a dissection. The MC has turned into some mystical detective who continuously gets led around by his nose by all these different organizations who make him constantly have illusions. Literally. Half the book from chapters 50-200 is just the guy having illusions and suffering. His abilites help him hardly at all and he remains a weak character all throughout. Even when the MC strengthens himself, its all for naught. The MC is a powerless character who just follows a line others have set out for him and everything he does is all calculated by others. Its the same shitty feeling as 008 in Lord of the Mysteries where everything the MC does is just what the quill writes. I’m not even able to articule in words the feeling other than just how disappointing and unenjoyable it is.
