I played russian novel roulette and I didn't need to grab the eye bleach but instead gently pick up the 40lbs budha statue that i rub for good luck on occasion, then the 35lbs bejeweled toad statue with a heavy bronze coin it it's mouth, and finally the tiny jade dragon that I may or may not misremember owning or pilfering from an aunt visiting when I was 8. It's that fake jade, like really caustic resin ones you get at a swap meet. Pretty sure if I bust up the statues I'll either get a lot of money, a trip to the clink, or crushed childhood memories. Anyway the MC is fun and the plot a twist of something familiar. It's my cup of tea and all I'll say is give it a try and ignore my random bouts of word diarrhea.

The pace of the story is good, I liked how you setted up the world background. MC's personallity is okay too, a clever and smart guy. But your novel sucks as **** in writing quality, making it almost unreadable, as i have to reformulate entire phrashes in my head just to understand what's going on, almost looks like MTL. I tried to give it a try but couldn't withstand it, good luck xD
