I liked it at the start but my god 350 chapters in and he's only just got the third rank in cultivation, it moves so fucking slowly, i much prefer the authors other work, martial god.
Yeah, story had some promise. But after I had read till 100+ chapters, mc still didn't have any agency. He gets everything from cheats or author/world giving opportunities. Mc never has any plans to get stronger, go somewhere to learn etc. since author just gives some sudden opportunity. Not to mention mc can just learn everything with glance anyways. Overall, mc just doesn't do anything by his own will, he just reacts to his surroundings.
