Review Detail of BattleLord in The Magician of Sound

I understand that the world desperately needs to be repopulated, 3:1 ratio is a bit if an imbalance, but it is truly insignificant considering how much reproductive material a single male can jettison daily. There’s no need for all this peacocking to attract a mate. Milk the fertile males and monthly put the women into stirrups. Sure you’re keeping females pregnant and eliminating romantic relationships, but this farce of using sexism as a plot device is a little weak. I certainly agree that raising children in a healthy family relationship should be the goal of all parents… the definition of a healthy family can vary. Parents, grandparents, siblings, can share the burden of child rearing. I find the dichotomy of the need to repopulate verses the consistently small single and two child families presented so far to be incomprehensible. Families of 20 or more children should be the norm. Especially if they death rate resulting from magic beasts is as high as presented. In summary, the novel is presenting a sexist story with a confusing female role in the story. They’re presented as shallow sex objects that can equally compete with males to defend their society, and livestock to be traded for influence by families. Either females are brainwashed with a 3 to 1 advantage over males that they don’t take power and reduce males to breeding stock, or I simply toss logic aside and enjoy the mind Candy. Who doesn’t like reading about scanty clad women who are submissive sex objects!?… I’m guessing women and woke men. I’m estimating 50% plus of the population. I love the sword and magic elements of the story and the quality of the writing so I will enjoy those elements until the free chapters end. I hope the author writes another novel that is less discriminating. I would love to read that.
