I believe you understand the logic behind character formation and development. Your MC is of great character, even the side characters are all good. Well eritten characters. Fourthly, story line. Right from chapter one, your story is progressing well. From the MC in a new environment to the beginning of his role in his new environment. Steady and focus storyline. And lastly, the world building. Though, I'm not a fan of this world, it's well written. The little of the world I've read is a proof of that. Keep up the good work.
