Very generic, the mc and other characters are also a bit strange, the one bit that got me was the wolf beast feeling remorse for hurting a human. I would get it if the beasts in that forest are working with the sect; but the next chapter the mc goes out with his friend to hunt some beasts. I don't see any reason why the wolf shouldn't have just eaten the mc let alone feel bad about hurting him. I've only read up to chapter 19 but the MC has shown little to no progress, mental or physical, yet he won the outer tournament. Powerscaling in the book is pretty bad. People seem to know stuff they shouldn't, the elder knew about the stamina and pain resistance of the MC, even though the mc wasn't hiding it I don't see why an elder would pay attention to a rank 1 kid in the outer sect. Similarly with the girl knowing some technique used by the MCs friend. Things feel kind of forced in any interaction.

Well, those are some problems I adressed already. I think you should've read the comments talking about this. But I'll say it again cuz it's faster to just read my answer here. 1. The beast was clearly labelled as peaceful. Not all of them are that way, but the diamon fang wolf is the protector of that cave with the golden roses and it's normally peaceful. Hunger clouded it's mind and made it turn into a rabid monster but she stopped herself before devouring him because he is literally a 12 year old child. Basicallt imagine those scenes were a character is so angry he starts attacking everyone but then realize his mistake and stop before killing his own allies. 2. The elders knows, not because they show interest in me, even if they do since Jin Wang literally sensed a soul heritage in Jian, so...Yeah there is that. Obviously that's interesting to a lot of people. But not only that, Jian runs around all day without ever tiring, and showed up at the gate completely teared up and with his feet destroyed and he didn't feel a single thing. The kid was like ' Yeah my entire body is teared up, I look like I'm ready to die...Just another normal day '. Except that's not normal. Such a wean disciple can't do something like that. 3. Some people knows about the technique Li Kuo used simply because it is quite literally the technique a legendary figure once used, and incredibly resistant purple ice isn't the most common sight. An elder said it was impossible because the sutra of that legendary figure was lost a long time ago, however Li Kuo did say his father found it and gave it to him. 4. Jian grew up in power. It was said he was training, however he just went up a few levels, not anything too special. Also he didn't exactly win. He would've died if someone hadn't intervened in the tournament, which shows that while he did become stronger very fast due to his Venerable Immortal Body, he didn't just become the equal of a monster like Zhao Shu. As for the mental changes, they come in later
