A true review can’t be made after just 4 chapters, so how can anyone be so critical? Although this story does have a fairly cliche beginning and you can see most of the storyline unfolding before the words are delivered. How can it not be the case? This started as a submission for a love at first sight contest. The author has a writing style that is easy to read, and builds a nice image of the action without any real technical flaws. The intensity of the main protagonist’s character flaw is what’s really going to keep the readers intrigued. So, in my opinion, this is something worth reading and following even after this particular contest is over. Make sure to read Piokilek’s other novels. You won’t be disappointed.

Honest Review Author is a veteran so I'm going to be a little more nit-picky than normal. The Good: Great writing quality! Veterans should always have this in my opinion, especially if they're contracted. While the story itself is nothing special, it is still done very well and that makes a huge difference in a highly saturated genre. The Bad: Nothing truly stands out, but the sheer amount of tropes and reused plot/setting makes it feel like this story isn't something from the author's heart and is merely one for the WPC. (If that makes any sense) The Neutral: I'm a bit more critical of veterans, but I also understand that my comments are merely my own opinions. That being said, veteran authors sometimes take any negative criticism as personal attacks.

Can't help but feeling nostalgic while I read this story... I love how the author write it. The progress of the male and female character is soooo perfect. After 20 chapters, the story is going strong. There is plenty of the sweet early stage of the relationship lovey dovey stuff, but also so intriguing twists that bring in some suspense to the story direction. Rose is super adorable. As a reader, you want to support her innocence and only wish for good things in her future.
