You might like the novel Katie Brooks ain’t no nonsensical justifications present so far. Very realistic story indeed.

Agree with you! The first time I read this i thought it was super fluff but the moment i read the fact that she was only 17 and was r*p*d and says he loves her. I think he is just making excuses to his past action which is so common to chinese novels. Always making excuses. Anyway how old is the ML? 30?

But anyway. I don't hate this novel neither do i love it. Their age gap was just annoying and their superb knowledge

I am not as repulsed as you. BUT I think there are super big flaws in story. 17 years old. R**** and engaged, in the past she was repulsed but now she is not. Very cliche of chinese novels. More strange is 17 and she is a bussiness tycoon and empire she started 5 years ago when she was 12. Like seriously how much unrealistic could it be. She is a business girl. Have seen the world but was fooled by two little foxes in her previous life. And not simply fooled but terribly fooled.

Here is my issue with these cliche chinese novels - they are stating clearly that ra-e is okay as long as its the ML (rich, handsome, powerful, possessive etc. who likes the FL A LOT) which is reprehensible. Especially when you look on it on a realistic level, the damage is monumental physically and emotionally especially for the victim regardless of age, type etc. etc. it is not okay. Its a power game, abusive and wrong, negative etc. on so many levels and there is no excuse for said action, these cliches always give it as an excuse and the norm which is why I am completely repulsed by it. Hence I dump these novels once I see/find out such event occured to the FL, who is supposedly intelligent and fantastic. Her first time with said charismatic ML must be that way. Then nothing happens, instead she all of a sudden forgives and loves him even more etc. That marks bull-rap !!!!! I am sure you have read, heard or watched several cases of this and what disgusts me is that they are saying that the victim should be grateful/honoured that she was ra** by said person and he is to be rewarded when he took away that choice with her forever love. I remember a situation where a woman spent all her youth & life in a coma due to r**e, she eventually died, total destruction of the woman, the perpetrator spent a few years in prison, got released and was able to his own life afterwards. There is another case, where a foreign woman was se**ally ass-ulted and abu-ed, she became permanently handicapped; the perpetrator still got away it, the reason because she dressed "se-y". No excuse but it happened all the same, what is common, no real punishment for the predators and these events happened in As**n countries. This happens all over the world. The reality is that the victim is not protected, comforted or respected or treated with sincerity in any form, instead its looked as its her fault for just existing/talking which caused said reaction from the ML/other. She is blamed, must fall in love with said person and live happily ever after with the rap-st ML. Sometimes she even have a baby - yippee. I am going to stop on this bandwagon because it makes me upset when these things happen and I am going to say most cliche As**n novels do this all the time. To make matters worse is that some readers even though its fiction appears to support this and the majority of them are women. I also have an issue when it is used as a weapon against another person just because they are enemies etc. Its lazy, lacks orginality, imagination and sick, its like there are no other ways of getting back at the enemy except via that. The rest of what little I had read so far spelled total crap, is unrealistic and makes me disgusted with all the characters, hence my dropping it. The first sign - her rebirth interactions, 2nd- r**e did not read it but the FL stated that he loved her forcefully because he loved her - in other words its her fault, 3rd - stupid stupid excuses for the ML who does everything for her because he loves her/must possess her no matter what, 4th - age its like she was a so called mature ***** from the time she was conceived hence she has made so much achievements anyone older is an idiot, 5th- so called intelligence. The novel is crap, yet it is getting great reviews and ratings. I do not understand, why these types of novels get high ratings with over 1000 chapters of the same thing. Take care.

I totally agree, like stories like these are always **** and above all the story line is always the same! I get a bored so I literally had to go thought eveything to find something good!

I recommend The Star In The Midnight Rain the author is working on editing the grammar but that really doesn’t matter because the move is amazing!

Another romance novel where the protagonist is raped by the ML? Great. You just spared me the time I was going to waste reading this crap. Thank you.
