The author finished his book. It's the translator who stopped after doing a small chunk of the story, leaving you with a taste of what a good translation looks like, but not giving you the whole thing and instead leaving you to have to read the MTL knowing just how bad it is.

Either way, the raw novel has at least a thousand chapters, so you're barely getting anything from here
