Looking good for now. But the author has the bad habit of FORCING HAREM. He did the same for A Valiant Life (Suddenly harem out of nowhere after a timeskip), and The Storngest System (A VERY forced harem, like really really really forced just for comedic purposes which completely ruined the story for me). So I am afraid to read this. The authors novels goes mostly like this, Not harem until the last 50 chapters with there being only one girl. Then at the last few chapters suddenly the mc fucks it and fucks other chicks. GG EZ.

The harem in The strongest system didnt actually matter or hinder the story as there were only 2 wives. The story with first wife was still ok but damn the second wife story was a little horrible. Sex for straight 6 years continuously(if i remember it correctly) was a little... I have no words for it. And somehow Lin Fan accepted her later but none of the 2 actually spend time with him or were of any true value to story so that didn't mess up. Eventually they gave up their lives so again nothing came out of it. I expect a better harem this time.... As for valiant life. I tried to read MTL but I couldn't so comments on that. It's just there harem was quite big and he even had children but I guess that wasn't a pure cultivation novel. I might be wrong as well.
Harem is such a bipolar thing for people like us who detest it. "there were only 2 wives" Two is ONE TOO MANY. If it is harem, it is **** to me (personal opinion). I don't care how the story was amazing before, after harem, it is garbage (again, personal opinion). So as long as an author has a tendency to write harem, I will not read it immediately. Either search for spoilers and confirm the main heroine is the only one, then read, or not read at all.
Nah if I am to read a book just to drop it, I'd rather not at all. After all there are many better alternatives.
Every1 has his own opinion. I usually read harem novels only if they are half decent but main emphasis is on story. Yup in real life harem is a problem but while reading novels it is personal opinion of readers............. fantasy novels, fantasy life
But not that many with over a thousand good chapters
valiant life and strongest system stopped being good after like 500 or 600. And there are plenty of good novels with larger wordcount then 1000 chapters with just 700-900 chapters. I dont want a large crappy story filled with fillers, i want a good solid read even if it is smaller.
let me be honest, I enjoyed The Valiant life, until the rushed ending. all that build up and then... time skip to a kid who doesnt know that his dad is literally the most well known person on the planet. that annoyed me to no end.
I haven't finished A Valiant Life and I'm only on chapter 900 but seeing everyones reaction to it and the ending in The Strongest System, I'll guess it was also pretty bad and utterly rushed. I did finish I Don't Want To Defy The Heavens but that end was also incredibly rushed too. IDWTDTH had no harem and only 1 wife so you guys can read that too. As for It's Lonely To Be Invincible I have no idea. Inadvertently Invincible is not on this site and I haven't read it before and the authors newest book Martial Crit or something is in the pilots section.
I Can Crit In Martial Arts is the name of the novel in the pilot section.
