THE ULTIMATE MARY SUE. Need someone to hack your computer?Qin Ran can do that. Need someone to play a world-class violin piece? Qin Ran can do that. Need someone to write the lyrics to make a world-famous pop-star? Qin Ran can do that. Need someone to fight eight guys at once? Qin Ran can do that. Need someone that's so clever they already finished the high school curriculum when they were 15? Qin Ran can (and did) do that. Need someone who has connections to every single powerful person in your area? Qin Ran can do that. Need someone to call a world-famous lawyer for your defence? Qin Ran can do that. Need someone who can draw so exquisitely with *chalk* that if she used an actual paintbrush people would probably faint from the beauty of her drawing? Qin Ran can do that. Need someone who is lukewarm to most people, doesn't explain herself at all, and is prone to violent outbursts that can kill people, but is beautiful so everything is forgiven? Qin Ran can do that. THE ULTIMATE GARY STU. Need someone who's from the most powerful family in Beijing? The ML is who you want. Need someone who was in the army? The ML is who you want. Need someone who was in the police? The ML is who you want. Need someone who graduated with like five different degrees all before the age of 21? The ML is who you want. Need someone who is a medical expert and can cure literally anyone? The ML is who you want. Need someone who will ignore everyone else but inexplicably feel a draw to the FL? The ML is who you want. Indulge in the sheer ridiculousness of a story that makes you astonished that the FL merely writes the lyrics for a world famous pop-star and isn't actually the pop-star herself. An objectively low rating, but a fun read.

The good thing though is all is in line with her talents so she is great in Math and that is in line with Physics and Chemistry. She plays violin and it is not unusual for her not to be able to create her own music scores. Unlike other FL's who are all over the place who are good at acting, medicine, math etc. So I think she is still acceptable. :)
Yeah, but it's that she writes his lyrics *on top* of everything else she does haha I don't know how she finds the time

Yes, the story was fun, but through the whoke book I was just screaming inside my brain that it would be so much BETTER if the MC was a company manager or a social butterfly and KNEW all these people with great abilities and didn't have them herself. I mean... She can do everything. No apparent flaws. Nothing that the author clearly states, anyway. No personal obstacles, no growth. Just that one character with a cool dispostion, yes, but an inhuman Mary Sue aura that makes it hard to emphathize with her. She is always right. In the center of attention. Always faceslaps. Gets boring after a while.
And even though music, maths, science and hacking are similar to one another (science is related to math and so on) and she got strong physically from the 'magic juice', (though this one is shakey, I will let it pass) plus there is the hint that the mc is also good with money and handling companies (since it is just a hint), these are completely different subjects. And even these subjects usually have sub-subjects, usually present as majors or etc. (for example, computer skills can be divided into creating software, sites, hacking, app creation, virtual reality, 3D blueprints, etc, etc.) I can completely understand if she is crazily genius at physics and is also good at maths. But being a genius at EVERYTHING? Being world best? That is wrong and disrespectful. And the Mary Sue overload is what caused me to drop the book. It was better when everything was hidden, I could ignore it and pretend it didn't exist. But now...
