I'm glad I managed to read up until chapter twelve, it's was a bit confusing for me at first but the succeeding chapters were perfectly clear after that. If I had my guesses on the author's reasons, it was to reflect the MC's muddled state of mind in the initial twelve chapters. You're in a roller coaster of emotions with the sweet love before crying tears and then admiring the MC's resolve. This is certainly a skill of the author :) An amazing work~

Oh myyy you read till chapter 12! A lot of ‘em gave up and just said it’s confusing without trying to understand it first. I’m so glad you didn’t give up! Yes, it’s too reflect her jumbled memories and also the dream is to represent the final goodbye from Lian-ge and Xu Ting. And since they were already dead, they came to Airi in a form of a dream.
