Ugh those two chapters made me sort of uncomfortable too. Chinese... while they aren't really racist as a whole towards blacks, the stereotypical view of blacks by Chinese are that they're large, aggressive, and perhaps a bit stupid. It's very reinforced by the media they consume too. Many Chinese haven't actually met blacks afterall... sigh. Honestly, if any foreigners should've been used for that saving the cute Japanese plot point, it should've been white Americans or something. They're rather known for coming to asiatic nations in hopes of getting with cute gir- cough. those are just generalizations. don't mind me.

I gotta say any blacks I've seen on social media WERE stupid big bulky and rude as heck as well as incredibly racist towards white people or anyone who isn't black or Mexican. but I've met tons of black people in person and have a few good black friends and i gotta say for the most part they're all the reasonable fun type of person with good humor. honestly though it would be better if all these novels in Asian countries just didn't acknowledge the existence of blacks considering how badly they portray them with even the best novels naming a gang mostly consisting of black people "black dynasty".

anyways on the topic of generalizations I've yet to see Japanese **** where a dude has a d*** longer than 3 inches and the average height is genuinely smaller there meaning most Americans who live there would be considered well endowed tall dark(not yellow) and possibly handsome. though saying yellow is a bit extreme but I haven't seen any guys with a tan there. so i can see the appeal in moving to what you call "Asiatic nations" but i have no idea how to properly call people since i just live out in the country where everything is mellow and for the most part you just see white people and Mexicans stealing farming jobs.

Eh. Dick size actually doesn't factor that much into anything. Height's a legit thing though. Well, it doesn't matter if you're chonky, acne prone, bad at socialization, or poor. Honestly? As a white person, your chances of getting with a girl in an asian country is about the same as your original country. (Especially if we're talking about Japan, which is a pretty metropolitan country). Your socializing ability stays the same as you move. Your appearance stays the same. You're probably going to still be working within your original job's limitations. I'm just not going to comment on that last remark of your's there.

It has something to do with someone telling you to your face that you are about as valuable as dog poop and regardless of whatever you do, say, think, you can never change the fact that you will never amount to anything better than dog poop. True, people will find problems with everything and getting your nose into everyone's business clutters your life, right? Severed lips, cold teeth.

I feel it is because of the lack of experience Chinese have in general when it comes to exposure to other cultures. Have you noticed a trend when it comes to depictions of white females as opposed to Chinese ones? The former are depicted in the most slu.tiest of manners and considered 'easy' and ready to tango. The obverse is also true; mature, steady, calm and the perfect wife material is how depictions of Chinese females is made by comparison. I get shocked when I read of an MC in these books actually marrying a non-Chinese girl in the stories...and COBI doesn't count since the foreign women are not considered his wives in the fullest sense I feel.

it was not an amusing depiction of the two black men; neither was it an exaggeration of what I read then interpreted. It was clearly deliberate that the audience was supposed to be offended at their actions. In what way was their assaulting another funny? You are right though; if it doesn't touch or strike you in a particular way, why should you be bothered by such casual racism, right?

yea i know right the more you think about racist the more you'll be the one. I mean we are human and we have different traits, this applies too with the same race. should blame, blame your creator why place curiosity element in our dna but again we can't read this if we don't have one lol

if you enjoy chinese novels its something you should already know about, and this novel isnt bad at all as compared to others. Just skip that part and keep going, the novel is worth it.

I get what you are saying, but you must also factor in the GIGO rule, ie, garbage in garbage out. Whatever approach or direction the author will take will be influenced by their prejudice and i have way too many other novels to read to tolerate someone calling me a monkey to my face
