I enjoy reading cliche eastern fantasy novels, but this one was horrible. There is barely any explanation about the world background, and the story progresses way too quick. Something that would be maybe 200 chapters in King of Gods, was already done in 20 chapters here. The main character just nonchalantly becomes an alchemist (which is supposedly super rare), refines a bunch of rare pills, and sells them for millions of gold in a matter of 2 chapters. And everyone acts as if that is normal.

LIKElol I just got to the Alchemy point but after reading this I've been made to discover many plot holes like a former super op mc bickering with kids,he reaches 8 dragon vine in under 2 days and family elders think is normal and he draws a formation and the guard took it in stride initially that's cool but after all is said and done he doesn't even doubt how something nobody knows about is happening? This is from the same person who can't progrss with the natural qi because ppl will be aware. the mc is more like someone who has giving something beyond his wildest dream and can't hold himself bk from showing of in a world where nobody is wise or everyone is kindhearted
