Good story, only issues would be lack of dialogue in the beginning, but recent chapters have fixed this with dialogue between MC and a few characters. Would also be good to know if all summons pertain to a certain category, i.e. beast, elemental, plant, demon. With the evolution is it random or are there fixed routes which have been discovered by earlier summoners. Overall a great start and an enjoyable read.

There are general categories similar to what you suggested that summons fall within. Cores from those categories might bring about an evolution to a stronger monster within that category. The routes aren’t fixed and can go many directions depending on what cores are fed to the summon. Think of it as equifinality
