It started off great, but like most light novels the powerful female lead became a little women that needed her man to take a step without tripping once the ml is introduced. It started with her wanting a divorce after she transmigrated, within 3 days she is a devoted house wife... Because he is handsome. *sigh* this shows how shallow the author views women. That they are only good as a support character in their own story and ment to cater to the male. The ml quickly over shadowed the fl and became the protagonist in her story. This is quiet sad on a personal level when I run into these type of light novels. [ once cultivation enters the ml skyrockets in power while the fl is given two support cultivations that she muddle about. And she feels thats ok because he will protect her.... How she survived so long in an apocalypse with that type of dependence on someone (meaning she doesnt need to be strong because the male thigh is there to hug) is beyond me] Majority of the chapter are of cooking or eating and lucky if something actually else is stated then food. Which wouldnt be bad if she would do something else! I read 115 chapters I believe and like 60 of them involved cooking or eating. There would be 3 chapters just on one meal, half a chapter of actual story then 3 more about another meal. It got boring and irritating fast. I think what really killed it for me even more that the personality swap once the ml enters the picture is the translation. Some chapters are repeated with an extra paragraph at the end. The pro noun swap around doesnt help. I probably would not be as annoyed if the translation wasnt so bad. All in all bad translation and a support type fl that is overshadowed constantly by ml type of story.
