The filter theory is not supernatural. It just says that every once in a while civilizations go through a big event that might be hard to survive. Things like pollution and plagues.

a mom hit her 10day old infants head on the wall like hulk smashing loki and killed the infant because it was crying all the time and not letting her have enuf sleep so yeah moms like that exist too
