Honestly I do not know how write a synopsis super well... any pointers?

I'll do my best with releasing more I have a toddler and work full time and will be going to college soon.

I mean I am going to go to college for communications or English haven't decided to further my education with writing ! I'll make time to try to update at least three times weekly. I even have intentions to go through the snowflake method of writing to fix it and make it better

Well, how do I say this? The synopsis is this idea you have about your novel and possibly something you would want others to read and feel that they should actually read the novel. To make a synopsis, you should have an entire idea of your novel, at least some bits of it. Just include some interesting factors or main conflict of the novel and some foreshadowing, and use questions in it so that readers would want to find answers within the novel.Hope this helps.
