Pretty good premise and plot development. Not much world building but I'm truly enjoying the story so far. The only glaring flaw IMO so far lies on the MC failing to convince her brother from skipping their flight. Sigh. I mean, she so easily folded and allowed her brother to tag along with her to what could only be YEARS of f*cked up sh*t. 'It was hell on earth? Sure, so why don't I just bring my bro there once again, what could possibly go wrong?' What's up with that?!? Seriously, in that pivotal scene alone, her character already failed to live the part of someone who couldn't even protect her own siblings and dwelled on those losses for years, someone who's supposedly done everything just to survive the madness in that island for 8 years, someone who's reason for living died unjustly in that island. Knock him out? Blackmail him? Drug him with sleeping pills? Cancel his ticket behind his back?Seriously, I fail to see the reason why she couldn't find a SINGLE way to stop him aside from bawlng her eyes out. If she truly loved him, she'd do ANYTHING to make sure he stays the f*ck far away from that island. NO excuses. I mean, I get that him joining her makes for a more interesting plot moving forward, right? But seriously, at least try to stick to your protagonist's personality especially that early into your story. You built up such a compelling backstory just to fail the characterization that supposedly developed from it...

True, if she really wanted to make sure her brother was safe she would be used those methods, but I'm not that mad about it since he is needed plot-wise, she still needs him strength-wise to do heavy lifting or protecting
