mc tells everyone everything for no reason. tells people hes from another earth, that he was just a loser, and that all his powers come from souls not his own. lamest hero of the dc universe this novel should be called

I mean it's not a foreign concept of DC to borrow your power from other things. So it blends pretty well in the Verse.

Doctor Fate, Lanterncorps, and Shazam are forgettable?

green lantern and shazam are pretty disliked within the fandom compared to the others and i personally have never liked them in comics or on screen. ill grant that ive always found doctor fate to be really cool and interesting though. but i think youll find that instead of merely borrowing powers, these people have done something/have a unique trait that made it possible for them to gain those powers. the lanterns need fearlessness, shazam goodness, and the spirit within the doctor fate helmet certainly has preferences for experiences mages. that being said i still generally find characters who borrow powers to be lamer than others.
