How are people enjoying this? The MC is very ignorant, the pacing is exceedingly slow and the lack of world background is unbelievable. I find it sad how real world corporations were also used...Lazy from my point of view.

I mean that would be a valid point if he wasn't ignorant in general terms. He's just plain dumb at this point, and this is without regarding the difference between both worlds Anyways this isnt the focal point The main dislike from myself is for the laziness provided by author in utilising real world corporations in a 'fantasy' setting, albeit done very boringly.

did you actually read all the chapters posted? Later in the story we realize the author kept the explanation on the world as vague as possible because it plays a lot on the complexity of the story and keeps a good mystery. As for the intelligence of the main character, we aren't in a detective book. Also, the author made a good job at turning his thoughtless attitude in something very funny. You can't post such a review on the world background when you can only really judge this at the end of a story.
