I had to stop reading this at Chapter 233. I advise readers to read with precaution as it could have a negative impact to one's mind. All due to the MC and (I don't know about this) the Author's philosophy about life. The MC is mentally disarranged to the point where he has no sympathy after his mother's death. You can consider him no different from a beast in this world. Made me realize that the other characters are more human compared to the MC. But, the story and the ideas are interesting. I just had to drop it because I felt that it isn't worth my read anymore. I usually don't mind cold MCs.. but this one is like a robot. I don't consider Noah human anymore.

LIKESorry but I just had to add this: The story is manipulative and seemingly tries to brainwash one's mind. Thus tries to force the reader into agreeing with the MCs feeling about the "unfairness" of the world while in his search for power. It just annoys me completely. Why is the world unfair but not the humans? Shouldn't it be the humans who are unfair instead of the world since it is us humans who monopolizes everything in that world? If you think that the world is unfair then why not bother making the world a better place for those who were born poor? MC is so twisted that I might call him a psychopath too. Jesus Christ existed for a reason afterall.
I think u dont understand something here, the mc has no interest in making the world a better place. He finds that a vain endevaor, and he would never be a jesus Christ. He find the world unfair, so he wants to be unbound by the world. To be so powerful, that the world doesnt chain him. Its a valid perspective, and i dont understand why u belive that just because someone find the world horrible, they would want to fix it.

You judge the MC by the present world, experience, life. Which is far from heavy. As well as the relationship with the parents. MS is not an infantile whiner (There are too many of them in our world. Always offended and crying). He is cold-blooded, and understands that tears and sorrow will not resurrect the mother. But he is ready to avenge her.
While this is a super old comment, I’ll still bite. It really depends on the world. In Lord of the Mysteries it’s pretty much the world against the humans. So you can’t say it’s always the humans that make the world bad🤷♂️

Man like WTF ? The guy read 200+ chapters. How is it a hate review ? Or just because someone doesn't like what you like he is a hater?
MonarchOfSilence:Those hate reviews are writen mostly by level 1 accounts simply to drop the rating of the novel. I hate those kind of people their logic is based on japanese novels with a chuuni MC, but this one is a Dark Fantasy for gods sake...
The world is ruthless and the mc is been Too much of a ruthless how will he be unbound by the world. I think he is helping the world be more ruthless and by that he is binding himself to it. You can't say people are thieves and you want to steal more so that you will not be like them

Will there be romance at the end of the story, I hope not?

Bro I've read a lot of novels and those novels are good. Stop saying this shitty reviews are bad. They all complain about one thing which is the MC and I agree with them. The MC is a flawed inconsistent character with a horrible background in past life that didn't even affect his life in this world

Far more people than you can imagine... Most psychopaths are in complete control of their psychopathy and are capable of controlling their impulses against other people. Many know they are complete psychopaths but choose not to get a diagnosis due to the associated stigma and problems it may cause. They are also self aware enough so that it won't cause real problems in their day to day life. It's just a minority who'll lose control and snap. These types end up on the news and widely publicized leading to a negative connotation and hysteria around the illness. Most successful people have some form of psychopathy or sociopathy, it's just a taboo subject so never really spoken about. To reach those positions is impossible without willingly crushing the dreams of others and using the accumulation of their lives as stepping stones. Unless you are born into the positions of course.
CriticalReader:the worst part of the novel is the justification of the mc's psychotic personality... who in their right mind can relate to a psycho not a pragmatic villain but a damn psycho
Especially with internet anonymity, you can praise mc while relating to him and some are fooled into believing mc is rational... no he is a psycho... plain and simple.
