Review Detail of IcyTurtle in I Reincarnated As A Stick

Review detail

I have read 260/270 chapters by the time I made this review. Absurb power ranking from dead object to dozen universe destroying God (not sure why the need to destroy multiple universes just to test their power, it is such nonsense like how many trillions creatures they killed for that). Super slow story development, like my god it was slower than a sloth. Most chapter only filled with skills grinding nonsense and some random dimwit moments. Characters are outright retard, like even the God are no exception. So much slow connection, confusion, and blank mind like you will wonder if anyone even have any normal working brain. Little to none world building, 260 chapters in and the story still in 1 kingdom (no detail explanation), few locations (no detail explanation) and few retarded so called inheritances (a bit more detail). The world is barren except for living stick, stone, some slimes, some humans and some energy beings. Like the author did not bother to add any animals, let alone proper ecosystem. Overall 2/10 for me.

well it is a novel about a stick so what do you expect

This is an unfortunate development. It seems like the two actual animal characters mentioned in the novel (no direct spoilers here everyone) didn't have enough impact to be remembered as animals. I think this novels strong points reside with a stick though, so maybe a bit more focus on the ecosystem is needed, especially on what sticks eat and drink to survive... Wait.

If u actually read this like you claim then you should have found out that the kingdom that you have mentioned was only mentioned to add aspects to the story later on. This novel is about a stick so of course its still early to see kingdom’s and other kinds of creatures as it is still in the stick phase and the eco system of sticks won’t have the things you have mentioned (yet) but nonetheless there were two animals mentioned and one of them was a lot so pls do say real stuff. And about the inheritances that you mentioned (why would you give a detailed aspect of them if you will probably not see them again) World building wise... bro thid is a novel about a stick and all the worldbuilding that had been happening is about sticks... you might have come looking for humans and that’s why You are disappointed but pls dont give bad reviews if you havent understood the core of the story or at least if you will give real evidence that deny what i said and supports what you did.

Who are you to demand something from me though? we didn't even know each other. 260 chapters are a lot, I wait that long to write this review which show I'm not some hater that read 5 chapters and give it low stars. 260 chapters in and the MC is still inanimate which is the lowest level thing. Can you imagine how slow that is when you read 260 chapters for the MC to still in newbie village. It the author took these time to build the world then it is endureable, but no. He instead waste so much chapters on random nonsense, utterly confuse and lost. The world is still as vague as ever, the creatures variety still as low as ever, multiple useless views (God, human, MC, his clone, inheritances owner) all just make it sloppy mess without any proper foundation. This novel is a perfect definition of "Jack of all trade and master of none". It lack identity and clear goals, have too much POV, severely lacking world and characters building. Everything is as basic as ever, as bland as ever. The trope of being stick has lost the comedy, it become a chore to read. If you think I'm being unfair after reading 260/270 chapters, then you are just being bias.

Well, from your words, I presume that you are someone who likes fast-paced novels and those that only have one storyline. Unfortunately, this novel is the direct opposite of those things, starting out with multiple parallel plotlines and is at a pace that isn't too fast nor too slow. As for the MC still being in an Inanimate level, you do know the whole purpose why he's a stick, right? To become the material for a goddess's weapon? Although that may be the case, his power is at the level of a Pseudo-Transcendent, skipping the Pseudo-Animate and Animate existence level together. Anyways, I hope you enjoy reading other novels since this one isn't up your alley.

Oh yea thanks for reminding me about that. I despise those nonsense of how MC (and his Minions) can bypass few grades entirely while everyone else can't because he need to be special, amirite? I want average MC that advance with strategy and brain instead of usual plot armor (oh he got super lucky because God helping him) this is another cliche that you use. Sure multiple POV is not the issue here, the issue is that you eat more than you can chew. One haven't even reach the climax and you already change it to something else that is not relate whatsoever, it is plain too forced. The pace is absolutely slow, I don't know how you think it is normal for 300 chapters (my estimation) to be spend on newbie area because everyone is not as dimwit as your characters. Eleanor is like 15k years and yet her train of thought is of the same speed as aurus (inanimate) which is outright ridicilous like no matter of how idiotic someone is, 15k are more than enough to give them an entire life of wisdom. Felix is a bit better (25k if I remember correctly) but he is still below average human thinking capability despite obliviously higher grade than average human. That is the reason why I said that all of your characters are absolutely retard and brain dead, I lost brain Cell each time they have conversation with each other.

A novel that's reliant on brains more than brawns, huh... Yeah. This novel definitely is not right up your alley. I'd recommend reading kingdom-building novels. Those novels might tickle your fancy.

precisely why I endure and read 260 chapters to give this novel fair chance as the idea of being stick is truly unique and interesting, sadly in end I can't keep forcing myself to endure any longer. The last chapter that I read is like"the straw that broke the camel back". I snap and got annoyed because of how I endure for so long without any worthwhile return. I will not apologize for my harsh comments and review because that is what I truly think and feel about this novel. May we met at a better situation next time.

Damn if I had a reader who has read about 260+ chapters and complain that its slow, there is no excuse it is slow. I even think that reader would be patient for STICKing that long on a one simple premise.
