The saddest thing about all this is that there is only one chapter. Among the masses of same old cliche that have saturated webnovel, it may look like it doesn't have much to offer when it comes to actually well-written stories, but this one chapter alone proves that argument completely wrong. What can I say that has not already been said? A lot actually. This is underrated. Very underrated. The way the author was able to craft characters in just this one chapter is beyond amazing. I really hope this someday becomes an entire series. And if this is anything to go by, then I'm definitely going to read everything you have written, @Sighe! Oh boy! I can't even form any words to give a good review here.

While your interest delights me, I’m afraid humility and my personal opinion bid me to inform you that my other work, ‘Amidst the Sand’ isn’t as good as the one shot I wrote. I prefer writing one shots. They are far easier. But I felt as if people lacked the interest, so I started a longer story. Without planning. Making everything up as I go. Hence the lack of quality. But anyway, to be frank, you are truly unaware how incredibly happy your words have made me.
