Yes I have stopped this novel. I'm literally new to this whole writing thing and I realised that I was taking the story away from what I wanted it to be. From the way the story was progressing it would be too close to the canon of the world and I really want it to have my own feeling to it. So I'm currently rewriting and actually planning ahead this time.
