I would have dropped this novel if the first 70 chapters weren't free. it took that long for the writing to start picking up and the author had less plot armor everywhere. The story has potential and as I read further and further along, I really feel like both the author and the story grow. I'm only 200ish chapters along and had to stop buying coins. I'll hoard up passes or hope it goes free again. still a few plot holes and poorly written chapters. also plenty of typos and such. An extra editor would really make this story shine. probably a slight rewrite of the first few chapters (50ish?). I like to come along for the ride and I hope you guys do too, I have high hopes for this one.

thanks for the response! I'm currently around 375 chapters in. It's bothering me how often there are missing words, typos, and such. I'm enjoying the story as it develops, and I appreciate the thought put into the book. I am not a professional editor, but I wouldn't mind fixing some of the errors as I read the story. Although I've never done anything like that on webnovel. I usually just leave a paragraph comment with the typo in most novels I read, but this one has a typo a bit too frequently. Other than the frequent typos or missing words, the chapters continue to get better and better, like you said.

TheSilverQuill:Thank you for such clear feedback! I feel similarly, as to how I grew a LOT while writing AJ. I'm nowhere near being the "perfect author" even now, but my goal with writing is for today's chapters to be at least a bit better than yesterday's. And I think that shines through a lot as AJ progresses, based on what a lot of readers have told me. And having an extra editor would be huge, though I can't afford anything like that for current stories either, at the moment. But revisiting/touching up early chapters, with an eye for the first 50ish in particular... I'll add it to my to-do list for when I've got some free time. I can't change the story outright, but I can definitely do a looot of cleaning up. And again, THANKS!!

if you leave a comment on paragraphs with the error it can help a lot. I'm not perfect, so I might not catch each one. But I'm usually notified of the comments and can make quick edits as they come in

I thought you might be interested in knowing that the AJ sequel is live and updating. It's a fresh MC and world(s), though there are Easter Eggs to be found involving the original AJ. "Outclassing the Achievement Junkie" is my attempt to build on and surpass the first story, making the premise what it truly deserves to be :)
