A masterpiece!! I am glad that I found this hidden gem, and at the same time disappointed by its low popularity. I implore everyone reading my review to give this novel a read. This novel is best for those readers out there who try looking for novels on strategic battles unlike those mindless cultivation novels. The MC, Maxwell, is an absolute charmer. Unlike those suckers who can only think with their d*cks, or those f*cking 'heroes', our Maxwell here is an absolute genius who gives horse sh*t for things like morality. Also the political intrigue developed is really interesting. Even though the names of the empires are just cheap rip-offs of the European empires, but nonetheless this also adds to the charm of this novel. The only complaint I have is the slow updates. But I guess that it would be resolved if the fanbase increases. Again, I implore everyone out there to just give it a try.

No sh*t their I was going through the original novels looking for some good Military related novels. My hopes were crushed, to many terrible novels with bad grammar or terrible stories. Then I came upon the first chapter of this novel and was immediately hooked on the idea of an Arcane weapon field world. Great writing quality, no typos or grammatical mistakes, way better written then this review, the story progresses well, wish it would explain his family in greater detail but since it’s only been two chapters no hurry. I really can’t find anything wrong with this author or story just lowered some score because he just started the novel.

Very engaging introduction, with a good character development. Effective language has been used, to create a captivating start. Good job, can't wait to read the rest of the novel.

It’s a well written alternate timeline story. Quite interesting read about a military reformers on muskets era with a little bit of magic twist. I have no idea what kind of mc the author is developing so far the MC is decisive (not ruthless, that word is soo overused here) he knows what he want, armed with modern how to ... oh and he also give a black king vibe, Think of lelouch if you watch anime. Im looking foward on how the author develop this story

The pacing is a bit fast and sometimes some events which you would think are important are skipped entirely and are instead implied in the story to have happened which can either be a thing you love or a thing you hate. For what the novel is, it's a good read. Character developments and actions make sense (within the context of the novel), plot seems to be thought-out and structured, and characters are interesting and have actual understandable motives (within the context of the novel). The only real gripe I had with this novel is how the MC tends to take a backseat for huge swathes of the story but like I said before, you either love it or hate it. Now for light spoiler territory. I love how when you get into the later chapters and you start to realise that previously 'sane' characters may have a bit more screws loose than you originally thought... Other than that, I found it rather interesting that when a person who is by definition a 'good person' who just wants to live a happy life or for their people to be happy but happens to oppose the MC dies *cough* Victoria *cough*, for some reason a good chunk of the commenters are celebrating their demise. I guess it just goes to show how some of the readers were really pulled into the power fantasy of an MC who is by definition a villain and because of that, I can't help but give this novel some bonus points for achieving that.

Honestly i really love what you are doing here so keep up the goos work but i do question why you use magic as "gunpowder" but there is no mention of healing magic/fireball etc. Is it because there is no such magic like that or magic itself degraded that far that it does not exsist either way its still very questionable

Estamos no apoio e esperamos esse desenvolvimento romântico ,pra aliviar um pouco a parte genocida da história. Na minha opinião também a história deveria seguir mais ou menos até uns 50 a 60 anos no máximo de distância da história de iojo no Senki , pós ao que parece , a história e o mundo é bem semelhante a de Tanya .
