Wang Chao hadn't given the sword yet. Also the disciple thing you can figure it out. Wang Chao did not wholeheartedly accepted Lu Cheng as a disciple at the very start. The weapon is just for Lu Cheng to pass the gaps of levels only temporary, because there's no free launch. Also they had an agreement where Lu Cheng shamelessly pass the condition (It was suppose to be a funny chapter... but guess nah.) And Wang Chao had to do it cause he already made the promise, to save them. He did not do it wholeheartedly do it cause he was his disciple. (That would be pathetic to let the MC to get controlled easily.) I just want the MC to go to the world background that's all :'(.

if that was supposed to be a funny chapter than the delivery was horrible. The weapon thing was dumb too, he ensured that nothing would happen so while the child had to do some work no danger was involved, so in a sense it was still a free meal. the disciple was accepted whole heartedly after one day,so i would still call it the start. while the mc is strong, he did'nt do anything to aquire that power, so whats he gonna do? teach his earth martial art?he knows how to use some magic, but can he teach it? i just wished he would have explored some more before getting involved with the locals in such a way, saving his village why not, but why the disciple thing 5 chapters into the novel. There is time for that 100-200 chapters in before that is a little early deoending on the amount of content per chapter.
