Guys, stop being an ass and give 1 star for the reviews just because it's been translated by someone else. We all know that the previous translators are doing it for fun and for us readers, but it's still a fact that they don't have the permission and copyright. So let's just give appropriate review not based on that. Thanks!!

I also haven't read this one, so I'm waiting for it here since this is where I usually read translated novels. And for others to say Webnovel is stealing the work of others who had previously translated this on other sites somehow sound a bit slanderous, imho. For one thing, we haven't seen a translated chapter here on Webnovel yet for those accusations to be justified. It is still on the What's Next category, nothing has been released yet, and here are the others pointing fingers already. 😥 Sad that others who have already had the chance to read this, whether official or unofficial in translation, somehow hinders those who still haven't read it and who only depends on Webnovel for great novels like this. If you don't want to vote for this, then don't. Let those who wants to read it enjoy it. It doesn't mean that when it has been translated on other sites by other translators mean that it cannot be translated, with the permission of the author of course, by other translators. I believe in the integrity of Webnovel when it comes to the legal aspects, since it is the whole organization that would greatly affect them if they indeed stole anything. Sad that I won't be able to read it here asap because of this issue, but I will persevere, coz I really want to read it too.

Your words are perfectly justified and you are right webnovel cab still translate this since the other translator was doing it for fun, but there are other novels webnovel steal not the kind were they get another translator for it more like copy it from the site and paste it on webnovel. I think the reason why people are complaining about it is due to those type of novel this novel is just like a medium for them to vent. Although that does not warrant one star

If that's the case with Webnovel having previously plagiarized novels, then I've got nothing to say. It's just sad something that is beautiful like this Ding Mo masterpiece had to bear the grunt for those previous misdeeds. It would be nice if Webnovel can answer those issues or else future projects will definitely be affected. 😥

actually if you go back to transgeek site you will see them stating that the translation has been done with the permission from the author

Really? I might have missed that. Still, no excuse for the poor review. First and foremost this is the author's work, not the translator's. I would imagine that even the translator would hate it if they are the one to cause bad reviews for Ding Mo's novel. This is the official platform where the author can earn the deserved earnings afterall.

Do you really think so? Instead of translating novels, they take the translated novels and add them to the site. Why do this?

First, there's a chance they found their own translators for this project. Second, I'm sure this is under the author's permission. As long as the author agrees, I don't see why not. This is the author's work, not the translator's. I see the main problem here is people who gave 1 star review didn't consider the author at all. They were too worried about the previous translators. I don't see that as a reason to give 1 star.

They do not give a bad rating to this work. They put a bad assessment of the actions of the site. How else can people complain? As I understand it, the author knew about the past translation. What they are doing now is useless work. There are so many great projects that are waiting to be translated.

It might be useless for you or the people who have read it, but please remember there are always people who haven't read it and they won't if it's not here. And I need to stress this one more time, what's important is that they got the green light from the author, the most important aspect here. I just found it unfair people keep giving shiet comments just because of that. Even if you say they don't give bad rating for the work but for the decision they made, new and ignorant users might think this is a shietty book based on the star reviews. It's unfair for them, too.

Then, the only thing left to know is: Is the author authorised to allow translations for the story? Because there are contracts that state that the right of translation falls into the firm's hands and therefore isn't by the author any longer. If the author still had the right to decide about translations, then webnovel operated pretty bad. If webnovel had the right, it's totally justified what webnovel did 'cause the other translation was still not legal. Though you of course can still critise how they have handled the whole thing

Qidian deleted comments that are criticizing them for wasting time and resources. Here's why although I agree that Qidian should owe the translation, they arn't handling this situation properly. 1. Qidians pr is absolutely garbage. We're your customers, the reason why your profiting. Talk to us kindly, if were being rude, ignore us. That is your obligation to show your consumers respect. 2. Why translate this novel again? That's a waste of time and resources, so many other novels can be translated. I understand that copyright is an issue, but since Qidian is paying for this novel to be translated, why don't you purchase the translation from the og translators? This benefits qidian as qidian can request for the 2 ladies to take down their translation. Why is this the most beneficial route? Because everyone is going to pirate the translation. Spirit stones are expensive and we have better choices of novels to invest it. Hence the only reason as to why Qidian would release the novel is to spread the "qidian brand" on translated novels. The only way to truly fulfill that wish is for Qidian to completely eliminate other translations. 3. Qidian is dishonest. When consumers told you this issue, customer service was irresponsible with their "answer." When the readers chose to talk about this in the comment section and raise awareness about this problem, Qidian chose to do something completely disrespectful. They deleted comments about the book already being translated. This is absolutely disgusting. This shows that Qidian is here for money more then the satisfaction of the consumers. Deleting consumers concerns and problems has just started. If Qidian has given themselves the power to do this, in the future, if there is a problem with the frequency and the book in general, wouldn't qidian delete comments with low ratings so consumers would choose to spend spirit stones on a **** book? Qidian doesn't deserve the right to delete comments with legitimate concerns. 4. I urge qidian to release a PR statement to -apologize for its **** attitude towards us, consumers. -stop deleting comments. The need for consumers to voice their problems is on a large scale. Customer service is usually brings unsatisfactory results, hence comments are the only place where concerns are noted. -realize their problem and resolve it with a solution that satisfies both sides. -at least act concerned for their consumers. -admit to their problems. Don't dodge and try to blame your consumers. And qidian, if you delete my comment, I will constantly copy and paste and post this again, my next course of action is to copy and paste this as a reply to other comments. If you delete my account or stop me from commenting, I will make alternate accounts. Face your problems head on, stop dodging. This is the most beneficial route for everyone.

She would lead a daily life full of hardships. The true heiress consoled herself, thinking that she was still better off than Guzi. She had to raise someone else's child and care for an old man. The Mind-Read Heiress: From Impostor to Family Favorite

Wenyan read a book in which a cannon-fodder character sharing her name was a false heiress. After the true heiress assumed her position, the impostor tried to secure her place in the wealthy family by drugging the eldest son and making a done deal out of a cooked rice, only to be unmasked by the Shen Family and end up committing suicide in despair. Wenyan was furious to see such an ending. How could one not survive without the backing of a wealthy family? Hadn't the family provided her with a luxury house and countless luxury goods? Just selling those off would fetch tens of millions. She was just a hopeless case! If she were the Wenyan in the book, she would have relinquished her position and just lived laid-back like a salted fish! But when she woke up from her sleep, she actually transmigrated into the book. True to her word, she stopped scheming. Overnight she packed her bags, sold her house, car, and bags, and looked for a job. - The entire Shen Family noticed the change in Wenyan, their adopted daughter. Not only had she moved out obediently, but she also never caused any trouble again. Even more bizarre was that they could now see her innermost thoughts! 【Dad, Mom, I never wanted to usurp your nest, but the DNA test results of the true daughter have issues. In fact, she's even more fake than I, the bogus heiress.】 Shen Family parents: ...... Then the long-lost 'daughter' who had been found was exposed as an impostor and taken away by the police for questioning. 【Big brother, that schoolmate of yours is no good, he's a corporate spy, the illegitimate child of the Shen Family's archenemies.】 Shen Family's eldest son: ...... Afterwards, the schoolmate got caught stealing confidential documents and was also taken away by the police for questioning. 【Second brother, you are such a pure and noble person, you mustn't be with the Qin Family's daughter, she's just using you, her heart is actually set on someone else.】 Shen Family's second son: ...... Thank you, I'll look into it. 【And third brother, fourth brother......】 In the end, nobody could have predicted that the Shen Family's most undistinguished adopted daughter would become the pampered daughter-in-law.

Reborn as a Weak Beauty Pampered by All

Kang Li woke up in the body of the sickly beauty, the youngest daughter of the Kang family in Aoli Village, who had been spoiled and pampered all her life. The original host had a tough life, first being dumped, then marrying a divorced man in a fit of anger to become a stepmother, only to find herself unfortunately becoming the control set for another stepmother in the courtyard. She could certainly be considered a top contender for cannon fodder among supporting female characters. But to Kang Li, none of this was a problem. All she knew was that the so-called divorced man was a returned overseas research talent, busy with work, with a high salary and good looks, and was hardly ever at home. In these times, where food and clothing were scarce and communication was done by shouting, marrying him was nothing but good news to her, who just wanted to live the life of a salted fish. Kang's Mother: ...my daughter's gone silly! Brothers (sisters-in-law, nephews, and nieces): ...our sister (young auntie) has gone mad! However, apart from the head of the household, Captain Kang, the rest of the family were all sweating on Kang Li's behalf, worried that the delicate and frail treasure of the house (sister, young aunt) wouldn't be able to handle the grievances of being a stepmother and might hurt herself from the stress. The villagers who knew about the Kang family's situation gathered together, spewing sour words and gossiping, especially those who bore no good will and were just waiting to see the Kang family's downfall. Yet, Kang Li's life after marriage was not only blissful, but her husband doted on her, her stepchildren adored her, calling her mom the moment they opened their mouths. They clung to her like people possessed, and the wife (stepmother) had them following her every step. A certain flabbergasted system: I thought the host I was bound to was bronze-tier, but it turns out she's actually king-tier. - Luo Yanqing was naturally indifferent, with only work on his mind, but somehow, he started to find himself looking forward to holidays, although he rarely managed to go home once a whole year.
