I think this is a great story, the MC is not some overpowered/reincarnated cheat, and he wasn't skilled in everything cause he learned the system was helping him until he turned the function off, how he develops in the future is going to be really nice to read and enjoy. Its definitely better than some of the reincarnation ones that I read, great job Lighthouse!

Some people may not enjoy that mc will not be a god, but I like how your going to be making him, can't wait for the story to unfold.

Nothing wrong with a novel with a OP mc, there is a ton of good one out there to, I even enjoy a lot of them, but this novel doesn't have a op mc it's like a breathe of fresh air so to speak.

I started reading and I’m hoping you don’t make the mc seem like another character. There is a novel I’m reading which made the mc look weaker than his friends. He has the best “lineage” but feels like he is.the weakest. I’m all for mc friends to be strong but just don’t make the mc weaker.

He knows how to fight, but it has nothing to do with his parents being military. He's taken martial arts and gymnastics for years. His basics are pretty well defined. As to your thing about Eric becoming just another character, he will start to shine as the story progresses. There's at least one other friend that will keep up though. But their paths and abilities are different so it contrasts nicely.
