*WARNING* The synopsis is total bull****. This story is not a romance. It's a twisted fantasy where the female lead is actually an idiot and the male lead is an abusive rapist. Again. Like every story by Ye Fei Ye. If things get better between them, based on previous novels on this site, it won't happen until around chapter 700 at least. So if you insist on torturing yourself by reading this, wait until that many chapters are out. People say Ye Fei Ye is infamous for misunderstandings. Bull**** again. No misunderstanding results in rape or assault. The male leads of YFY don't misunderstand; they are sadistic abusers who don't understand what communication is. And the female leads are masochistic idiots who form a twisted dependence on their abusers. And it's complete bull**** to say the male lead actually loved the female lead the whole time. If he loved this person, he would not hit her, or bite her, or rape her. Ye Fei Ye is ****ed up to write this **** continuously. There are plenty of ways to have the same plot, with emotional pain and meaningful obstacles in their relationship, without glorifying rape and abuse.
