TLWR(Too long won't read): Don't read it. It's purely wish fulfillment without any struggles. By reading it, you can easily get trapped. It's not worth getting trapped into. The first few chapters had promise of maybe some character relationships or development, but in the end he cut himself off from everyone he knew, spent the rest of his life as a billionaire and a God. On this website, there's nothing wrong with wish fulfillment because that's just the kind of stories that are highly rated here. But really, this story is just nonsensical. The author doesn't even bother to look up anything science related as a lot of the things here are pulled straight from his ass. He has a shallow perception of how the world works, and that is detrimental to writing a story ABOUT creating a FREAKING WORLD. Translation quality: It's okay, no typos or anything. The translation and grammar itself is understandable Stability of updates: It updates daily, so if you got sucked into this trap of a novel, you'll have a hard time getting out. Story development: As of now, anything interesting has been thrown out of the window. I suspect that it might be a long time until the main character finds himself struggling with something again because he is literally a god at this point, both in terms of the world he's making, and the power he has in the real world. At the start, the author was doing something really interesting with the character. It showed that the main character was slowly becoming disconnected and less human as he became more and more powerful. The author could've delved deeper into the philosophy of being a human and becoming a God. On the values of life. But clearly, the author doesn't actually understand the value of being human as he just went ahead and made the main character cut off from the rest of the world so he could focus on being a god. I could even feel that this isn't what the character wanted. At the start, you can see his frustrations of not being able to get the girl even with mind reading. He's constantly haunted by his failed romantic relationship by the little sister of his ex. His two relationships after coming in touch with mind power had broken off of him because he didn't seem to love him. The author could've delved deep into the psychology of being all-powerful in exchange of your personal connections with other people. BUT, not all people on this website are looking for something great. Let's talk about in webnovel standards. First, a protaganist with a cheat, great! Second, beautiful love interests, great! Third, an external goal which drives the plot (curing himself of his cancer), great! What happens after he cured himself of cancer? Well, he just did his own thing and left everyone he knew. Now there was no direction besides building the world he created. What about the world he was creating? Maybe there are some fantastic struggles that could pull you in? Well, all of them are glossed over! Since it's a perspective of a god, everything happens in a blink of an eye. The most touching emotions I have felt so far is the one with the first human king and the first elf. I hope that the novel sprinkles more of these in the future, but I'm just really frustrated with the lack of struggle. Even mainstream novels at least pretend to have struggles for the mc before face slapping the villain with the main character's cheat! Character design: For me, every character besides the MC is more loveable. I just can't stand the MC not because of himself, but because I can see how unnatural it is for the MC to do all of these things. As a writer and a reader, I feel that the MC has a lot that he wants to say, but is drowned by the voice of the author. The life of the MC, ironically even though he's becoming a god, he can only be controlled by the author without doing what he actually wants. He is simply the author's avatar, with no will of his own. AGHH World background: A LOT of the logic doesn't make sense, BUT the system of getting mind power from the zero dimension is cool. If I could, I would write with this concept. It's cool because it explains why the beings in the world he created are able to get power from the source. But on a downside, the author clearly does not understand how 2D organisms work. You can't just lob an ant into a 2D space. Only a cross section would freaking fit because of the dimensions. It won't become a fucking drawing. Though it's understandable since the platform he was using was a scroll and kind of like a painting aesthetic? But it contradicts the actual laws of dimensions. Well, he was saying something like the 2d world in the scroll was slowly becoming 3d, but the author was pulling A LOT OF BULLSHIT LOGIC FROM HIS ASS. Just remembering how he turned the scroll world livable is just painful. My braincells are dying from trying to comprehend his flawed logic. Final note: I wanted this to work. I, personally, want to feel what it's like to be God, but this novel oversimplifies it. I feel sorrow for the main character because he has such a terrible author. Who knows, maybe it'll get better in the future. But in the end, chapter 42 is a bad place to be. A reader should never go to a bad place just to read the good parts. I'll probably still follow this book because I am indeed in the trap of reading it, but I still have the hope that it becomes better. If it becomes premium, I'll delete this book from my library. Peace.

Maybe I was a bit hard on the novel. But honestly, it can be great, I just don't see it as great right now. The reason why you would get stuck reading it is because of the frequent updates and the satisfying power of the main character. Like a lot of web novels, it utilizes the power of wish fulfillment in order to keep the readers reading. I think it's okay to have wish fulfillment, but it's been getting boring lately. With nothing but gaining power and epiphanies, he's just becoming a God with no struggles whatsoever. If you can consider the "I can't do this yet because I don't know how to/don't have enough power" then yeah, there are struggles. The struggles at the start were really interesting, but they were solved by simply removing them. Removing the problem is way different from solving it. He simply didn't grow at all from his failures in his relationships. In the end, he just ran away to continue playing god.

I'm just reading to see how nonsensical this gets. Once it goes premium, I'll probably drop it though. :D

This should be pinned to the top of the reviews for how accurate and informative it is. Thank you for not only pointing out *Why* this novel is bad, but going as far as to describe why it will never get *Better* to put the nail in the coffin for those who might try to read it just to see.

I don't see what's wrong with him cutting himself from humanity and being by himself just being rich and a god. I call that living the life!

It's true that people will actually want that kind of lifestyle. Even I want to live of riches and godly powers haha. But I did see the main character's frustration when we wasn't able to connect with people anymore. I just feel like it's a missed opportunity on trying to explore the concept of being powerful and alone vs human with relations. The main character didn't try to solve his problem, and just straight up avoided it. Which is to say, it is one possible solution to the problem. But avoiding the problem is less interesting than trying to face it, no? Imagine if he strived to try and fix his relationships, but still fail miserably in the end. And out of bitterness, he decides to leave the human world and its relations to continue being God. If it was that development, it would make much more sense to me why he started isolating himself. I mean yeah, he actually did it for the same reason, but it felt like he gave up too easily without even trying to solve the problem in the first place. But, you have a valid point. There's nothing wrong with cutting himself from humanity and being by himself just being rich :3

In my case the side stories within maria world are interesting lol It is not about the mc because idc, I juste care about the world building, the world that he created and the history within it. Also yeah the author doesn't know **** about science but this story is mainly based on the final result of his world, idc how he does it. That is the kind of story that is only about imagination, it doesn't have to be logical. The author is just trying the many possibilities he can create. Idk if you understand what I mean. Anyways anyone has his opinion, for me it is only for pure enjoyment and curiosity.

I agree! I honestly like the stories about the characters in the world itself.

This is actually a pretty high quality review. Even if it's not a positive review the reasons why are well argued and though I haven't read this specific novel I can easily imagine what kind of story it is by reading this review. Unfortunately my impression right now is that this is another good idea ruined by the personality of the main character. A main character that thinks and/or behaves out of sync with the world building and the characters living in that world (eg like how the mc from Super Gene is far more greedier than any other character in that universe and is shameless enough to rip off not only enemies but also friends). This reason is probably the main reason why I have not finished a lot of the fantasy novels on webnovel.com I started reading. Many of these writers seem to not know of the theory used by a lot of the good fantasy stories where you create a world based on a magical/fantasy/xianxia rule or set of rules and the story is about characters and personalities living in that world. And the characters have to act and behave consistent with the world building and culture within that world. For instance Japanese Isekai novels often fail at this by having an European midieval setting, including how people interact with each other, but the main character keeps using the interaction rules from modern Japan without ever noticing it himself. And the funny thing is that if the mc does not want to stand out, something every isekai mc seems to want, than maybe it is a good idea to try to change your behavior and try to integrate into the culture of the world you are in. A novel that I think is very good at this is Cultivation Chat Group. It starts out with a student with a student who stumbles into the cultivation world and the things happening around him still seem pretty normal. But the deeper he gets into the cultivation community the more fantasy like and ridiculous things are happening to him but because of the good world building the characters all seem to behave fairly normal given the circumstances. And even if something slightly strange happens it is often explained later on as it often happens that a detail that looks to be not important is later on explained and used in another joke or unusual situation.
